I’ve been playing 8ball for maybe more than a year, I just started watching these lessons videos for a while and I realized that I’ve been just westing my time over the table cuz whatever I’ve done is nothing actually So I finally got what should I do from now on I’ll follow your videos always and I really appreciate it ❤️❤️

All these games seem Amazing!!! I shoot a lot of drills, very seldom do I throw balls on the table and just work on pocketing. These games really look like they can push you to the next level of play. Thank you Jasmin!!!!

Jasmin. I just discovered your videos after a year of watching other videos, excluding your match play videos. Your videos are excellent. I like that you don't waste time and concisely and clearly explain your approach. I came up with a game to emphasize safeties( probably not the first) when I practice games with another player. If a player misses a shot, their opponent gets ball in hand. So you really have to think of the percentage of making each shot. Safeties have to be called. I hope you keep posting them and that more people find you. I'll spread the word.

I practiced the rotation for the first time today. I got up to the 9 Ball. Not a bad start and I'm sure I'll do better next time!

cribbage thats a new one for me i like it yea matching ball colors great game and the other way add up to 15 very cool never heard tried it cool game ill be playing that the half half drill is alright real cool video and your looking great cant wait too see the next video

Great video,I just would like to comment that the rotation games and the cribbage games are actually the same games. In your cribbage games there is a rotation, just a different rotation than the numerical one. But essentially it is a rotation game as well so no different game.

Thanks a lot! I will have to try these out. I like the touch ball idea because I have a problem dealing with clusters in my game. Or the half-half because I did struggle with long far shots. Are you not allowed to use the side pocket in that game?

Beautiful and useful. One clarification: in Rotation, has a nine ball, you have to contact the lowest numbered ball on the table on each shot, not pocket it.

Great video! FYI...you shot out of order in your Cribbage example. You shot the 12 ball before the 4 ball. :)

I think part of the game is that you can choose to shoot the solid or stripe ball first (of the same colour). Otherwise, it basically the same as rotation, just a different order.

I don't like drills so I practice by playing a lot of straight pool but it can get a bit aimless. I like what you've shown here, especially the half:half, that looks great! Thank you 🙌👍 PS - I created my own 8 ball drill using reds and yellows by shooting alternate colours instead of the usual way 😅 I don't know if it helps but it's mildly interesting 😅

i also get a bit carried away when i start practicing, ill start fine then boom into the hard follow,drawback shots and its over by then, practice session is ruined

@@horyshet8217 I totally get it mate. I'm all focus at the start, try and run a rack of 15 in any order to warm up then go from there, usually downhill! I still haven't played in my local league that I'v been invited to so maybe having a "reason" to practice will help 🤔 Right now, I just play at home for 1-2 hours a day cuz I love it. How about you? Do you play in competitions? Do you think this is all about concentration problems? Would love to hear your thoughts 👍

@@OffGridMadMan i use to play at a local league around 8 years ago and my game was off the chart, without any practice. then i stopped playing for no reason, i got an old pool table from the pool hall i use to play at in my garage and ill just shoot 8 and 9 ball. to answer your question, i honestly think its lack of concentration. another big factor is, ill watch svb, shaw, and these studs playing at the highest level and i try and do what they do and end up getting frustrated and pop a beer open and thats it for me. I know whats needed to better my game as i play softball, and baseball and i work hard to keep my consistency at that, but when it comes to pool, its so easy for me to loose focus. Keep at it MADMAN. blessings

@@horyshet8217 thanks for the reply and your thoughts on this. I think we've nailed the problem; CONCENTRATION and FOCUS. Very difficult when you're basically playing for enjoyment but know deep down you could actually be extremely good with proper practice. Frustrating stuff 😑 But I am indeed gonna keep at it, you too my friend! All the best 👍

The Cribbage game sounds exactly the same as the 15-ball rotation though, just in another numerical order. I think a better way to play Cribbage is that you have to play 1-9, 2-10, etc., in pairs. However, you don't have to follow the numerical order. In other words, after you make each pair, you can choose any other ball and then the next ball has to be the complement of the ball you just made.

another next level game is break an 8-ball rack normal, then choose low or high and you have to play them in order (1-7 the the 8, or 9-15 then the 8)

Question: Is there any other difference between rotation and the two here described cribbage versions, then just getting used to another numerical order? I don't see any ...🤔so I don't know what additional value should the cribbage bring compared to rotation. Only the "beginners" version with no numerical order makes it a different game IMO

I know a great training game that's great for world class pool players. It will definately elevate your advanced pool skills. The game is called Honolulu. When that game becomes too easy, combine it with another great game... straight pool... Honolulu Straight Pool. I invented that game.

I really enjoy watching world class players like Jasmine, her brother Albin, He, and the tall guy on the Taipei team, Chang I think is his name. Great match so far!
