China has no history of fan dance. It is an imitation of Korea's fan dance. Chinese people always steal other countries' cultures. The Chinese claim was written by the Korean-Chinese and is said to be the culture of China. Therefore, it is claimed that kimchi, ondol, Arirang, and pansori are all Chinese culture. Korean professors are demanding correction of misinformation about Baidu in China. Fan dance is a creative work first introduced by senior dancer Kim Baek-bong in 1954, and is the representative dance of Korea. If you don't have the right perception of China's cultural exploitation, it doesn't mean you love China, you are just a member of the Communist Party.
These girls are from APDA or Atalanta Professional Dance Academy. I have seen what they can do, met them at our studio and trained with them. They are kind and wonderful, The younger girls including me still look up to them and strive to follow in their footsteps! We all love and laugh, we cried when they graduated from the school, but they will forever live in the hearts of the dancers

I just found this video and I'm impressed with the group. From comments I know they didn't win, and if that last performance was the one that disqualified them then I'm tempted to blame the performance arrangement. The group kind of got eaten by all the flashing lights. They looked better when the stage set-up was simple and people were forced to focus on them.
it was stunning, no doubt but they didn't need the lightning to look flashy, their flowering natured dance, their lovely colourful appearance was just all they needed so every attention can be focused on them. of a truth, the lightning made it difficult to capture everything as we don't wanna miss a single move.
I totally agree. The lighting and background somehow did not match well with their costumes and properties. So, instead of beautifying the performance, the lighthing "drowned" them. The last performance was actually quite ambitious in the choreography because they tried to use several properties into one. For me, one property has been difficult enough and they are using 4 properties in one choreography.
Either way, i think its easy to say most watchers enjoyed their dances, if their backdrop was simpler with their final act i have no doubt they would've won
Hawa Raman Um, excuse me? That wasn’t even a roast. All i said was a correction. NOT a roast. Do you even know what one is? Damn. If you deny all the people that try to help you, trust me, you’ll get no where in life.
Even though its been almost three years, I still tear up no matter how many times I rewatch this video. It's just so heartwarming to see one's own culture finally represented on such a world-renowned stage
They are like exact flowers. They should share their talent with the world. I also understand them very well because I am Chinese as well. They should have won the competition! I’m so sad.
This is so beautiful! The Jasmine flowers music and the dances and the girls move me to tears!💗 they are timelessly beautiful and graceful. It is going to be a legend
I did it too in an annual function of my school and it is really hard, the coordination is main!! It was so hard for us to just make the flower and do the wave how could they do all this stuff !! It's amazing hats off to jasmine girls ❤️❤️😊!!

Fan dance ( in korean "Buchaechum" ) is originally unique to *Korea*. This was created by 김백봉 선생님 at 1954. I write this for letting know true , not for any bad reason:) plz recognize this dance is originally Korean, and their dance is very very good!! 영어 틀린 부분이나 어색한 부분 있으면 찝어주십쇼... 짧은 영어로 정말 힘들었어요......
Fan dance is one of the traditional Chinese cultures. Folding fans existed in the ancient Han Dynasty. In the comments, Koreans said it was theirs. I went to school in China. When I was in middle school, the school performed the fan dance we danced.
@@gtghygg2570 Uh. ...mm If you can't agree with my opinion, search a origin of 'Fan dance' in Google or Wikipedia. Although 'Folding Fan' was originated from China, the fan dance's origin is Korea.
+Unicorn Marshmallows I disagree. First of all, what we hearing here is clearly a medley. Second, this pieces of music are not note to note traditional Chinese music, it has been composed for orchestra to give Chinese feel and still be enjoyable by wider audience. Dance groups rarely have their own composers, if at all, and often do borrow musical pieces to which they dance. That ofc by no means is a bad thing but makes it hard to have a situation where the movie is one borrowing from dance group.
It's a traditional Korean dance technique except ballet. The name of this dance is Boo Chae Choom. Boo Chae Choom is a traditional Korean dance. It was a dance that began in 1954. It is a dance created by Baek-bong Kim. This dance reconstructed the Boo Chae Choom. It is not a traditional Chinese dance. ( I'm not good at English. I wrote a translator in frustration 😀ㅋㅋ)
They won first at yagp wich I think is more important than this stupid show, nobody here is ACTUALLY talented. Also by winning yagp they showed themselves to many artistic directors.
Why do you think that's "inherent"? Put away the ugly jealousy, this dance is much better than Korean fan dance, and has nothing to do with Korea in terms of style and skills. Compared with Chinese fan dance 50 years ago, it has made a lot of progress. And it's totally different from Korean dance.
This is Legendary....❄🌀 Please🙏 don't hide your talent. Show it the world needs you. They will say you're copying but the Truth is it's not for one person. God is great.💪❤
+thắng nguyễn minh Jasmine Flower, that's the name of the song. It's a Chinese folk music that is very famous song. Kenny G has a saxophone music with the same name, Jasmine Flower (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2RCWMiol8G4.html) that is based on that traditional Chinese music.

I have seen Korean fan dance, and I have also seen Japanese fan dance. This dance is totally different from Korean fan dance. In contrast, I think Chinese fan dance is much better.
It's very satisfying it's like watching dancing graceful flowers that light up in the dark satisfying you to sleep and the music oooh man I'll be like 😪😪😪😪😪😪
Fun fact: Chinese dance is very common in many parts of America and Canada and other places where there are people of Chinese ethnicity. I, for one, am also in a Chinese dance company. These are quite common all around the world and I am surprised to be seeing so many of you stunned by it lol. These girls obviously do train very hard though, so kudos to them! They looked beautiful and their synchronicity was amazing.
