Dam Jason, I had to dedicate this song to my wife because I have been in love with her since I was 9 and she was 7 we are now 42 and 40. I lost track of her when I was 16 and she moved to Colorado we lived in separate states until I was 30 and my first wife and I got a divorce so I left everything got myself a bus ticket from Oklahoma to Colorado. I moved here not knowing where she was at but I knew I still loved her and I had to find her to see if I was still a thought to her. I was finally able to track down a phone number for her so I called she didn't answer so I left a voice mail and I said "Hi I don't know if this is the same Jennifer or not but if it is you used to ride you roller skates up and down the road in front of my grandma's in Oklahoma city if this is you give me a call" we'll she called me back I ended up driving over a closed mountain pass in a blizzard to see her for one hour. She was married but not in a healthy relationship so I told her where I would be if she decided to leave him one day I got a call I asked her what she was doing she said living in a motel I asked why she was in a motel she said she didn't know if I really wanted her or not. I told her well you need to be here with me so she got her and the kids things loaded up and came home to me thats where she has been. She asked me before do I miss my life before her and I don't I don't look at the past I look at the future with her she is the love of my life and I don't see life without her by my side she is my ride or die Bonnie. Thanks for putting out songs that I can say fit my life. Just like George Straight check yes or no. I can go on and on about songs that fit her and I. I want to one day be able to go on vacation with her to a beach somewhere so I can do adult things laying in the surf under the stars but I don't know if that will ever happen you see I've had open heart surgery and 2 strokes she has had Brain surgery for the tumor in her brain. Anyways I hope one day we can. Keep putting out awesome songs you will always have fans here in Colorado.
