Why do they serve it with chips then because anytime I’m come over from Ireland and get a fry it always comes with chips

that is a full english breakfast well done now they look stupid for not checking what a full English is

@@georgestark8171We do use spices when we cook other cuisines. It’s normal for us to cook Indian curries, Italian, Spanish etc. We have restaurants with foods from basically every culture on the planet. Traditional English food isn’t about spices though. It’s simple and warming. Meat, potatoes, salt, pepper, gravy, herbs, berries. Food of the earth. We use high quality ingredients which have their own flavours. Each style of cooking has its own merits, and I like to eat a mixture of different foods.

@@georgestark8171 If you have tasty, fresh food (not hormone-stuffed, artificially-fed meat and huge, force-grown, watery and tasteless vegetables), you actually want to be able to taste those ingredients, instead of thinking you have to smother everything in Uncle Jim-Bob's Patented Gutbustin' Hot Sauce.

Americans often say when they visit the UK one of the first things they notice is we don’t use Condiments such as sauce mayo u name it like you do in the US. Then it’s the portion sizes they can’t believe how little meat is served in a restaurant etc. definitely though I have to make the point that please don’t think we eat this stuff daily. It’s usually a little treat once a week or month for most of us UK people. Hope u enjoy and Philly Cheesesteak for breakfast is so unhealthy bro. ✌️👍

Have you heard his take on mayo? Our on half of the summer salads in the US. His chef uses only fresh and organic. I can see him being a picky eater. Kumars recipes have a lot of Seafood.

As idiotic comments go this is right up there. We didn’t incorporate spices into British food, other than in some cakes and desserts, but we did adopt a whole new cuisine into our food., just as the US dud with Mexican food. The first Indian restaurant was open in Britain before the US was even a country, and a good 50 years before the first fish and chip ship opened in Britain. Oh, and tell me which other Northern European countries incorporated spices into their native food? France? Germany, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Sweden?

Toast needs to be thick & extra crispy, spread with salted butter, beans need to be Heinz & piping hot & if you need to add some meat, steak sausages from a butcher on top 😋 and a cup of strong tea (Assam, Yorkshire - anything other than Tetley) with a dash of milk 😊😊😊
