His voice never changed from when I used to watched the power rangers on Saturday mornings. RIP Jasón. Thanks for making my childhood with awesome memories
I know right even in the newer power rangers episodes when jdf made an appearance soon as he showed up it was like a legend walking in the f****** room 😍 because he is the ranger on screen and off screen 😭 Tommy was always a badass he stepped from being the first evil ranger to being the greatest power ranger that ever lived in the original storyline
@@simonjack9699, Recently I've learned that he did some MMA. Four fights. He won them all. Now, maybe not at an elite level, but that's impressive. Guys like CM punk try that all the time and get humbled easily. JDF was legit. And the more I learn of him, the more it seems that he did live the Rock & Roll Martial arts life. He was a really cool and a really nice dude. A real life Green Ranger.
The Power Rangers are not real bro. Not sure if anyone ever told you Santa Claus wasn’t really either. But Jason David Frank was a real person and that’s all I can tell you. But try reality it should help you out or perhaps seeking therapy. Why is the world so stupid right now? Seek the lord while he may be found. It’s too late for these people. I hope Jason David Frank went to heaven, but killing yourself is not a good thing. So why don’t you live in the now and reality world instead of fantasy. Star Wars transformers Power Rangers are all fake not real! Only Jesus Christ is real! Amen.
Thank you I will cherish this video forever it meant so much to me when I first saw it and even more now considering the circumstances. I never got to meet him as well, only this cameo. I always wanted to meet him but never got the chance. It really sucks. I am regret not making more of an effort to go see him. We never know how much time our favorite celebrities or heroes have. If there’s any chance we can spend time with them even for a signing or picture we have to take it. 💚
It was a very big deal it killed me when he said time capsule for when he’s not here anymore so sorry for all his family and friends. Hope they make his movie.
just curious why is jason frank so popular compared to the others.. or was rather. just learned there is a seemingly large adult audience for power ranger related media
My heart stopped when I saw the news. I literally screamed aloud in office. He was my childhood hero, and it was thanks to him that I developed an interest in martial arts. I always dreamed of meeting him and asking him to sign my black belt. I wanted to learn Tosu Kune Do from him someday. I just.... Can't. I'm so sorry JDF. Rest in power 😢😢😢😢😢
I felt the same way I dreamed of meeting him and thanking him. It's funny because everytime you think you have more time. God comes in and decides you don't lol.
I didn't believe JDF died until ASJ shared it on RU-vid and I met JDF back in 2013 at the Niagara Falls comic con and he was the nicest person you could ever meet may JDF Rest In Peace
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers had quite the impact on me as a kid. A friend of mine was lucky to have seen Jason at a con some years ago with her brother, but the footage taken was accidentally lost. Anyway... I'm stunned. I too saw the clip from Austin St. John, and almost dropped my phone. (The timing couldn't have been more off, as I was just headed to bed.) Anyway... Goodbye Jason. I'll take what inspiration I can, from your life, to push myself past my own struggles, and through my goals. In my memories, you remain.
He and his brother, Erik (RIP) visited my Taekwondo school several times in the mid 1990’s. He signed a full sized poster of himself that he gave to my now, 36 year old daughter, who still has it hanging in her home! They were so humble and friendly, my wife and I really enjoyed getting to know them. What a terrible loss. We met him twice, but we loved him and Erik. 😢😢😢😢😢💔
It's already been 2 years, I loved this guy, I may be 12 years old but that will never stop me from loving the Zordon era days and most importantly and especially Jason David Frank. I started watching MMPR since I was 2 years old and kept watching it, I stayed in chronological order I just stopped watching after the In Space series ended, I skipped to Dino Thunder then again skipped to Samurai and watched Power Rangers since then till Cosmic Fury, thank you JDF, you made my entire childhood.
@@seankansen1674 Thanks a lot for the upload Sean. This is a true fan right here. Only YT upload and what an epic one it is. I have a few things signed by him and met him luckily in London. I regret not getting a dragon dagger also :(
@@mr2nut123 Thanks for your kind comment. I wish I got the chance to meet him but sadly it never happened. I do have a few things signed by him that I picked up. Thankfully I got this Cameo and will treasure it forever. 💚💚💚
@@seankansen1674 I wish I had known about Cameo back then too. How did you manage to get him to sign his hero Morpher? It's pretty epic that he did it! I'm half tempted to get some cameos with some of the other rangers and Zordon now. This proves life is just so unpredictable. I hope you're doing well. The sadness is slowly fading and turning into happiness with all the awesome content he's left for us to watch.
@@mr2nut123 I actually didn’t ask him to sign the morpher or anything, that was something he did special for my Cameo. Can’t believe I am so lucky. I am slowly getting better but definitely still sad. I’m glad to hear that you are too. I have been watching other people’s cameo videos from JDF. That’s been making me smile. Also the kindness from the ranger nation has been very uplifting. I hope JDF’s family will be ok soon. Stay safe! 💚
It doesn’t get any easier knowing apart of my Childhood isn’t here anymore its insane knowing its almost been 2 Years already 😢 Rest Easy Brother! Waiting to see if your Daughter takes upon the Green Ranger mantra. ❤
It's true that you never know how much you'll miss someone until they're gone. I haven't watched much about the Power Rangers, or the performers that brought those characters to life for me when I was a kid. But hearing about Jason's passing made me sad. I'm sad he is no longer in this world, interacting with his fans. Making new memories with new fans. Being there for his family. I never met the man, but his joy talking about the Rangers to a fan, makes me miss him. Thanks for sharing this. Rest in peace Jason. This isn't goodbye though. See you down the line brother.
You were my first childhood hero Jason David Frank. I watched the entire Green With Evil series of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers hundreds of times. My very first experience that began a 25 year journey of studying martial arts was mirroring you performing the Green Ranger Kata that came on at the end of my Power Ranger VHS tape. I cried when the news of your passing came to my attention. You were and always will be my favorite hero, actor, sensei, and role model. I hope you know with out a shadow of doubt that you affected so many young minds in such a positive way. Your legacy will live on eternally through so many children who learned confidence, positivity, self respect, kindness, and discipline by watching Tommy Oliver fight evil and protect innocents while growing up. Be at peace and rest easy Jason David Frank. May the power protect you... forever. Thank you.
I’ve seen a bunch of Cameos from JDF since he passed, he was so much more personal than most others. This is the most personal I’ve seen though. He really cared about the people who loved him and I’m glad you had this moment with him, thank you for sharing it with us :)
The Power rangers were good before the green ranger but when he came in the show just went to great and I love that he did it for different generations and kept it going. #rip my dude the world will never forget the work you left behind... I started watching power rangers when I was 7...I'm 37 now and I'm still watching like I never seen it before. 🙏 Again rip Jason frank #itsmorphintime
I started watching Rangers from the episode Green with Evil. It was Jason's first appearance. His incredibly powerful energy and charisma impressed me so much that I started watching the series. When they decided to repeat the Rangers show on our television, I decided to look from the very beginning. And I was so bored watching, waiting for Jason's first appearance....
i remember one year at wizard world it was a Pack event JDF was there his line was when i say long it was an understatement the Man line was mega long and there were heavy hitters' celebrities wise, but his line was like the longest. he made sure everyone got enough time talking with him signing autographs laughing talking all that good stuff. I didn't have enough money to meet him but i yelled "JDF you're the Man for doing this" and he looked around saw me smiled and raised his fist in the air and it made my day. my childhood hero Tommy Oliver taking a sec to acknowledge me with a simple raise fist and smile. even though i couldn't afford to meet and greet him this man is a true human being
I love this. My name is Shawn & I just had my first son. It was as if he was talking to me. Like a final video from him to me. Hit me hard. Brought smiles & tears. God I'm going to miss him so much;(
Rest in peace JDF... you were the best. ever. not only as a Ranger, but also as an extraordinary human being. thank you for everything JDF. I love you. Forever in our hearts... ITS MORPHIN TIME! DINO THUNDER! POWER UP!
He truly does love his fans, and his energy is just so awesome, I am so glad and thankful for my childhood it's morphin' time. Just seeing and hearing him makes me really hyper! R.I.P 1ST OG Legendary Green Power Ranger!. 😁😊❤️🔥✌🏻
8:56 When he said "one day when I'm not here", that could send shivers down your spine.. In hindsight it almost seems telling the way he said it like he had been contemplating and planning it for awhile. Even so he was still considering his legacy. Once a ranger, always a ranger. R.I.P.
JDF is simply iconic, one of, if not the best ranger ever, no matter what color. Happy retirement, thanks for making my childhood and adulthood. #JasonDavidFrankForever.
Thank you so so much for sharing this special cameo with us. It's like a part of my childhood died with him (he was my first crush as a young girl!) Man if the cameo went on any longer, he'd be signing the desk, the floor boards, his own forehead... He was so into the Power Rangers and so encouraging to his fans.... I'm gonna miss him.
RIP Jason. So many people today say "men go-to therapy" but they don't truly understand the hardships that men face. And Jason succumbed to the same thing that so many men do to today. My heart was broken when I heard he passed. And even sadder at the news of how. He will never know how much all of us loved him and recently I found his new pages and was waiting for the white dragon. His story is loud message to every boy. Young men or men in general. He was great man, and deserved better.
He and his brother, Erik (RIP) visited my Taekwondo school several times in the mid 1990’s. They were so humble and friendly, my wife and I really enjoyed getting to know them. What a terrible loss. We met him twice, but we loved him and Erik. 😢😢😢😢😢💔
"Jesus didn't tap" what does that mean? It means that Jesus Christ never tapped out, and neither did Jason David frank. He was killed, I can't believe people are so quick to dismiss it as suicide it's a little bit laughable. You can say I'm in denial but there's something off about his wife, only she knows what happened and she's responsible for it.
Sigh...I really can't believe this wonderful man is gone. But really hearing him say "Someday, when I'm not here"...hits really hard because who knew it was going to be this soon. JDF was my true hero growing up, my absolute favorite. He truly was all heart and seeing how much he cared about his fans, rather than just seeing them as money makers, truly commendable. So wish that this week never had to happen and that he was still with us. Almost makes you sorta wonder if this couldn't have been another secondary factor in his untimely demise. He said that he was retiring from Power Rangers due to age and having tattoos. I don't think the tattoos factored in so much, but he knows he knew he was getting older and can't really pass off as being young anymore and unless newer fans saw the older episodes, JDF probably didn't mean as much as he did to us. I dunno, I'm just talking out of my head now. I'm just truly sad over his death and wish that he could be brought back...but unfortunately, he was human like the rest of us and no Zordon or other being can bring him back. Rest in Peace, Legendary JDF. 😢
I completely understand your feeling man. It was weird he was retiring from power rangers. He obviously loved being the green ranger he even dyed his hair green. I’m sure he was going through a lot I wish he could have talked to someone. 💚
It’s like if he was planning this from the beginning to his first hello to his last goodbye from all of us R.I.P hero we love you and will always keep you alive ..we won’t ever let your flame die out your fans will protect you forever 🕊❤️ Thank you Sean for sharing this with your ranger siblings 🙏❤️
Only celeb I’ve ever seen do a 9 min cameo for someone. You can tell he loved his fans like best friends. He was such a good role model as a kid and I’m always gonna miss him and I’m sure many others will too
I couldn’t hold myself together at all watching this, and the ending hit me like a freight train, damn I wish he wasn’t gone may The OG ranger himself rest in piece, your missed very much
I wish he would have known how much us nerds cared and loved him at this moment I wish I had dragon balls to wish my guy back to life RIP Jason David Franks
This is the first time I've seen this cameo stuff and you can tell he's not doing well. People that have never experienced depression probably don't understand but I can see everything that was there, I understand what he was going through all too well and it wears you down to where all you can think about is escape and rest. When your life goes from "I am" to "I was" it's not easy to except If you are about to lose everything and everyone that you love and your prime has already passed, it's hard to see a upside to anything, If you feel like you cannot be what your loved ones need you to be it destroys you, You end up with this self shame that is unbearable, the world gets very cold very fast
I couldn’t believe it. A whole generation of guys my age felt like a big piece of their childhood died. His face was so ingrained in those memories of my youth. He was there through it all.
He had a beautiful personality. I was a big fan of power rangers when I was young. I especially loved Kimberly and Tommy's relationship on the show. RIP.
Thank you for and awesome childhood I was born in 1995 and I can honestly say I use to want to be a power ranger while jumping on the bed The movie back in 95 was awesomeness I was maybe 4 years old when I was able to watch the movie I remember it like it was yesterday last week. Great memories.
Thank you Jason for amazing childhood looking forward to watching power rangers as a young boy gone but you helped a generation a true icon rest in peace much love to you and your family thank you for being the icon we needed as children much love
