Kung fu guy now he's into Aikido ? Seems to be well versed in this Japanese art. This should be interesting. I remember the first time I heard of him was at the Gracie Academy in Torrance. Early 90's he had come by the school and challenged the Gracie's and they showed us the video of him fighting Royce on the mats.

@@VultureLivesAgain well yeah, he knew some grappling because he fought Royce Gracie. So he was familiar with their way of fighting. But I had no idea he was training in Aikido. And traditional Aikido has nothing to do with the BJJ style of grappling on the ground.

@@punisher7772right, but I find it very cool that he was exploring fighting from every angle, that's what pioneers do and I appreciate people who do thia type of stuff

I'll never forget his fight with Bas Rutten , when Bas broke his liver with some nasty liver punches, and he was trying to cheat saying boss was hitting him low. And saying boss was punching him in the face, because there were only allowed to palm strike to the face or slap to the face, and the organization pancreas. Bas made him pay in a big way, for trying to say he was being fouled.

Yep, he pounded his liver. It was brutal.

@@olivervandal8645 Three times to be exact, and he got his ass whooped every time. I've had the pleasure of training with Bas through the years, and he's a great guy. And this is a fight that he remembers fondly, when he broke Jason's liver in half.

@@thomasjusinski7286 wow, three times ? Makes me think of Tito vs Shamrock, where Shamrock lost three times in a row.

After getting owned by Royce Gracie in the Octagon, why would Jason Delucia put out an Aikido video? Neither his Aikido nor his Kung Fu helped him in the Octagon.

He never used Aikido in any fight....he is known for fighting Royce Gracie in UFC 2 where he got his arm broken...and pancreas where Bas broke his liver...he faught the founding fathers of MMA though.
