This dudes vocals blew my mind on that short track on White Men Can't Jump, otherwise I wouldn't have even know who he was. After hearing that track on the movie I was like OMG who is that vocalist??!! It reminded me of the Temptations then I realized it was the same guy!
I was honored to meet him one day in downtown skid row LOS Angeles and got a autograph picture thank you... oh and my girl is my favorite I was born on the month of May...
When I was a boy at St. Paul Church of God in Christ in Chicago, the church sponsored a Cub Scout troop and I joined. Louis Price volunteered as our troop leader. (Actually, my grandfather, Bishop Ford, "volunteered" Louis, and so he didn't have a choice in the matter. 😂). But Louis did a great job. Scout's honor. He's a kind soul and a gifted singer. So sorry to hear about the recent passing of his mother, Vernon Oliver Price. Next time you talk to him, tell him Craig said hello.

Way too much talking from Jason and not nearly enough Louis. He basically sat there while Jason talked. Worse yet, what little talking we did get and his singing of "Stormy Weather" was edited.

Louis is, without question, the best singer I've ever heard. The point of this interview seemed to be that he was featured on Jason's tune, so the focus should have been on Louis. The premise of the interview and what I actually watched were quite different and I was left confused and wanting.
I strongly disagree but totally respect your right to hold this position on this matter. I look forward to checking out your page and hearing your singing. Perhaps Louis can pick up some tips from you.
I know Louis Price personally. He along with Larry Tate(Lorzene Tate the actor's dad) and Keith Echols all attended Marshall High School here in the Chi. They had one of the best music teachers Gloria Ramey Lewis's sister And believe me when I say they can "Sang." Louis could really hit Hey Love by Stevie Wonder among other hit song's with out music.❤
