KEXP, with Sub Pop records is proud to present SMooCH (Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital) 2020. Hosted by KEXP’s John Richards, this 9th annual benefit show features performances by Jason Isbell, Angel Olsen, Ben Gibbard, Bret McKenzie, Fred Armisen, Kim Gordon, J Mascis, Clipping and Couch Riffs. SMooCH also shares stories from amazing patients and their families at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Jason & Amanda are giants who have hit me so hard these past few years that it’s like they miraculously appeared out of nowhere- amazing songs, gorgeous musicianship, and heartbreakingly beautiful performances… we are so lucky to have artists this good

I don't know what Smooch is but I do appreciate the music of this particular couple. They're about my age, they have a girl, I have three. Their music is a lot of what is going through my mind also. So thank you, Amanda and Jason. I hope you'll keep on doing well. By the way, I loved I So Lounging. I hope it'll return some day. Cheers from Finland.

Aside from the talent, and the beauty, Ms. Shires is elegance personified. On their instruments they delicately play the heartstrings of us, their listeners, as they bring into the light the joys and fears, the feelings and emotions, of all of us so blessed as to hear them. We are all truly privileged to be alive in a time when Jason and Amanda are making music that illuminates the landscapes of our souls.

Been married 39 years. Started planning for this last year. Tough to think about. Parents married 42 years mom lived another 21 after dad died. She was never the same. Angry that he had died and left her. Beautiful song.

Jesus Christ on a cracker! That is amazing. Tears in my eyes still. It sounds full. Complete and it mostly just Jason on guitar driving the whole thing.
