Was honestly stunned by the depth of this man’s thinking. The way he explains his concepts from first principles is refreshing. Reminds me of listening to Michael Saylor.
@@John-wf5if Whether or not he’s secretly plotting against Bitcoin, it doesn’t matter what we think. It matters what Bitcoin thinks, and Bitcoin doesn’t care
Amazing interview. This man is genius and we need to protect him at all costs. Bitcoin depends on humans like him. Jack Dorsey is another man to protect. Great work nathalie! Appreciate you.
That guy is a joke doesn't really know much only what he thinks it will end up but if the American people knew who's behind bitcoin nobody would buy it
Great interview! I appreciate that you allowed Jason to speak his mind without interruption. A lot of valuable information here. The last part of this interview where he speaks about the unit of account is powerful. I think he hit the nail on the head. I also appreciated his take on POS and Ethereum.
Just imagine for a moment the cost of human blood and treasure that has gone into Proof of War and now imagine putting that energy into the Proof of Work for Bitcoin.
Great interview! I too have despaired at the nation's political problems. I too think Bitcoin can unite us. I agree with Jason that it is a national security imperative! I too am an engineer and I LOVE Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto will be one of history's anchor points going forward. I am so grateful to him. (*or her or them)
As I was listening to this conversation I kept thinking about an episode of the original Star Trek series. They encountered a planet that was in a perpetual state of warfare only the war was being fought with computers. After each side launched an attack the computer would tabulate the loss of life and in order to avoid physical warfare each side agreed to terminate the number of individuals calculated by the computer. They had removed themselves so far from the horrors of war they had lost the incentive to end it. I think it would be great to incentivize the human race away from the path of self destruction but would prefer we develop a mindfulness such that our tribal nature is no longer understood to be a feature but rather a bug.
Thank you so much for this interview! I really enjoyed listening to it. And learned a lot. I started with. BTC in 2009 and really wish I would have been serious with it instead of selling for $0.25/BTC. I could have been rich.
There are exceptions to the technological power projection game that Jason outlines. For example, the Taliban was able to defeat the US without planes, missiles, nuclear weapons etc.
Yes, the Taliban were fighting a Counter-Insurgency against the ‘Western invader’. I can’t help thinking that right now, Bitcoin is fighting a Counter-Insurgency against the legacy FIAT/TradFi systems.
BTC = I do not need your permission ... awesome interview , even 2 years late, still a very relevant interview specially now that politicians are becoming interested in BTC
Jason claims btc can end wars over money, but not wars over physical property. Since physical property can almost always be bought with money, how can a war break out that is not about money? Is there an historic example?
Could he clarify if he suggests the U.S. treasury buy bitcoin...or the Federal Reserve (which is a private non-federal entity...although they now work hand in hand)?
The US government owns more than 214,000 bitcoin received through confiscations. Jason created a thesis to explain to government that it’s the network that is the power. He is presenting his thesis to military leadership and government leaders in hopes the USA keeps mining and holding Bitcoin because it cannot be stopped or controlled.
If America cares about protecting its economy, that economy needs to have Bitcoin ‘somewhere’ in the defense plan. Future wars will be in cyberspace as well as kinetic and less kinetic if our enemies use cyber warfare against us. With a centralized economy America is at great risk, so it’s important that America underpins its economy with Bitcoin as a defensive strategy.
His friends have a reason to mention cardano and time and artificial intelligence. Disruptive technologies cardano has the ability to evolve. I love Jason here. I just he's not right about everything every time and he's right about cardano being a contender. He said it people in the government are looking at cardano like why not cardano. It's the egalitarian. It's more fair. It's really smart. It's really what. Watch what it has to be all power projection. Jason says well, maybe he's right. I don't know?
Some say Jason is a spook because he's saying Bitcoin is a weapon.... paving the way for banning bitcoin because.... it is a weapon. Don't know what to think about Jason.... He's smart, I'll give him that.
For a country holding Bitcoin, machine force could take their land, but the country will still exist as a force because of the remaining ownership of Bitcoin. Then it will be a bargaining chip: your Bitcoin to get your land back.
WHAT IF THE SPACE ALIENS ARE SO ADVANCED THAT THEY CONSIDER HUMANS AS JUST ANTS,.AND THEY WANT TO BUILD A ROAD THROUGH SPACE RIGHT OVER EARTH.??? DO HUMANS RELOCATE THE ANT IF THE ANT IS IN THE WAY OF THE ROAD THAT HUMANS ARE BUILDING?
Jason, C++ was not invented by an American. C was, but C++ was created by Bjarne Stroustrup who is Danish. Since C++ is, for all intents and purposes, a superset of C, I'm probably splitting hairs, but still...
@@scottkarl2514 bitcoin cloud isn't the best, mining bitcoin isn't as easy as it seems... it takes much strategies and analysis. the $20,000 I just made isn't from my professionalism. I trade with a prof. Mr.Johnnie Avant , I've been trading with him for half a year now.
What about all the people who said, "We will not win in Afghanistan"? Or, "there are no WMD in Iraq"? Yes, bitcoin could help a lot. but it is time for the oil empire to end. And we don't want bitcoin mining using fossil fuels, or the planet will become uninhabitable.
That's the great thing about btc, all miners are by definition incentivized to use the cheapest electricity possible & so those using water, wind, solar & geothermal, gas flares, etc (ie Free) get the largest margins. So the incentives are aligned already....and then, to be as innovative as possible around cheaper options for those places without a free option.
He doesn't even understand if. He didn't ever even speak to the person who created if. Craig Wright. Bitcoin was forked and protocol changed for fraud and will never do what its white paper describes. BSV is the original protocol restored and the real bitcoin.
I make huge profits on my investment since i started trading with a professional broker Mrs Selina Rivera, her trading strategy are top notch coupled with the little commission she charges on her trade. Thanks so much ma'am♥
Thank you for the level-headed financial advice. I started my investment with $5,500 in just a week of trading with her I’ve gotten profits of $15,750 in my portfolio. Thank you Ma'am
Ever since i started trading with Mrs Selina with the consistent weekly profits i'm getting there's no doubt she's the best. such a genius I have been withdrawing my profits thanks for your great work and God bless you more..from Slovenia
Everybody is so infatuated with this man, I don’t buy it. Bitcoin is peace not war. If you must use an analogy, Bitcoin is armor. Armor that can’t be broken.
Same thing with NFTs: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S_E7QXB8zvQ.html The reason NFTs have value is because they are backed by blood, in other words, blood defines legal framework of laws that backs up NFT value.
Where do these people get these ideas from? National security? The real purposes of BTC, et al, is: 1. Keep peoples money circulating by funding businesses who service BTC, but know better than to own it. BTC transactions pay fees. 2. TAKE peoples money when it crashes. More people dependent on government. 3. Be a training bra for people to get used to electronic fiat so rolling out government digital wallet and CBDC. The infrastructure is being built on current investors money so no investment or at least much less investment of money will be needed.
You’re confusing bitcoin with crypto. Jason is actually referring to a global decentralized network that eventually every human uses. His thesis has evolved into more than just global currency. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Yc0t2bmVhU.html
It’s ok to not know the whole truth of bitcoin! If you know pretend to know the whole truth of bitcoin the your stupidity will get exposed! You now exposed your stupidity!😂😂😂😂
I really enjoyed that conversation. One thing everyone seems to miss though is the periodicity of X class solar flares, like the Carrington Event of 1859. No one wants to talk about that one. These massive solar flares directed at Earth occur about every 150 years and we're over due for the next one. Covid and climate change suck all the air out of the room every time and we can't have an intelligent conversation about how to protect civilization from something that we absolutely know is going to happen, it's just a matter of time. Tik Tok Think about how many civilizations have been taken out by ice age geomagnetic excursion events. If you don't know about this topic it is by design I promise you that. I love BTC and got my 2 sisters to become bitcoiners, so my family understands at least that part of it, but as usual there is much more to the game of life. Don't kill the messenger please.
Which is why we need nodes in Faraday bunkers. I saw a guy recently bought just that exact thing for his family. If he runs a node there, the ledger is secure. This is why the US must take btc seriously & properly protect some number of miners & nodes in underground secure places.
