Got to meet him years ago. Surprised my mum with tickets out for her bday. Had a friend organise a meet and greet. When he met her backstage I mentioned it was mums bday. He spent quite a lot of time with her and was so nice. We sat front row during the show and mum got a high five at the end. I'll always be grateful for that experience and for how he made a really special moment for my mum.

This song will for ever bring me back to my best summer ever. In my id-20's, over 15 years ago now. Just got my first decent paying job and two months vacation to spend it. Lived in a great house with my best friend as a roommate. Sunshine every day. Just getting smoked up, drinking and barbequing every day all summer with a beautiful summer fling to spend the evening with. Easily the highlight of my life so far and this song just captures that whole vibe.

A little background info on this song. This was mainly a song that he started playing live in 2004 at his shows. It was a natural hit with fans to the point where they were screaming for it at every show once recordings of it from his shows made it's way to the internet. It was already a live hit before it was a radio hit. He didn't record this version until 2008 so it was already an older song to his fans especially fans that would go to his shows every tour. He's more of a live musician than a recording artist. You really find out who he really and what he's about in his live recordings. He's a flawless and seasoned performer.

It's pronounced "Mirr-as". He has a fantastic duet backing up Raul Midon called "Keep On Hoping". Midon is an astonishing blind singer/guitarist/writer, and their voices together - and the vibe - are heavenly.

If you want to hear more of his Carribean sound, he does a fantastic version of "You and I Both" live. The one on Ellen is fantastic and the one labeled Live at EBS are just great. There are several live versions up on RU-vid and some are better than others. There's one that's absolutely fire. It's worth going through a few until you find the best one.
