such an intimate yet playful performance between two people who were best friends and lovers. it really defined what their relationship must have been like. i'm so sad they're not together anymore.
this proves once again what a great artist jason is! he just switches harmonies and saves the situaion :). i had ha huge smile on my face during the whole song :).
When she's singing alongside Jason.....she's....just not that good. lol Jason has to save her ass multiple times. You can almost SEE their relationship when they perform. She was holding him back.

i love Tristan. I have had the leasure of befriending her personally, and falling in love with her music, and I can say, she completes him in every way. They are both so positively uplifting, both their music and character. I am so incredibly happy they're engaged, and am glad that real music like this still exists. @karazh i know, perhaps harmonies isn't the right word for what i meant. he doesnt' sing it lower but higher, he sings the woman's part (so tristan can sing the man's part) and i think for a man it's not that easy. well, for him it is. :)
If this video alone doesn't sum up their relationship. Started out together on one mic, sounded terrible, Tristan couldn't sing in key, couldn't hear him, singing the male part, Jason at the wheel making adjustments that are comfortable for her....ultimately deciding to get his own mic so she can sing freely and he as well. "When you're needing your space to do some navigating, I'll be here patiently waiting to see what you find".
I was referring to the difference between colbie vs Jason Mraz and Tristan Prettymsn. Both Jason and Tristan write their own music, colbie takes credit from other writers
+Peter Tantillo okay first of all, this has nothing to do with you calling her stuck up, conceited, and slutty. And second of all, she writes all of her songs along with maybe two or three other writers, just like Jason Mraz. And i promise you i'm not being biased, as i am not that big of a fan of colbie. but what you said was totally uncalled for.
This is true, as I've watched him live several times now. But when I him last year he was profoundly changed and depressed. It was just in his tone and his manner ... there's just an incredible sadness about him now that my wife and I (fans since before he made it big) came away from the concert feeling very down. In his set, he seemed to have shunned away from his more upbeat songs and took on a very serious tone which didn't suit him. It was very depressing.

xoxojamieshelle maybe that’s why she was trying to tell him she couldn’t hear herself -makes it extremely hard to sing on point when you can’t even hear yourself..she’s absolutely an amazing singer , try listening to some of her other songs and you’d be surprised how talented she really is , she an excellent guitarist as well!
