I also threw the short intro track on the beginning (called Sold Out), since it's fun and leads into Curbside, which is track 2. Thank you "admiral eyebrows", who asked me about this yesterday, which alerted me to the fact that it doesn't appear to be on youtube anymore. I also remembered that most of Sold Out isn't on youtube, so those tracks have been on my to do list for a while ;)
It's crazy to think that this "long version" doesn't even have many of the parts from more traditional versions. I wonder if he ever played every part together in one performance. Could you imagine if he has like a 15 minute demo of it somewhere haha? There is another time where he attempted this version with Bushwalla at Twiggs in 2006. It's on youtube, but here's where the whole show can be streamed and downloaded: archive.org/details/bushwalla...
I've uploaded things from and mentioned that amazing sounding and hilarious show before. I would recommend the "Jason and Billy talk about how they met" track. It precedes Curbside and talks about the history of the song as well. He mentions that, "The original version of this song is about 8 minutes of lyrics."
He's also talked about how Curbside's chord progression influenced the formation of the Remedy, and has played them together many times. I've always loved this version, where he plays both, along with a verse from Gypsy MC: • Jason Mraz Curbside ...

Until a few weeks ago, seeing something like that felt unrealistic. Then he did a nearly half hour jam session to Unfold!! It was instantly one of my favorite things ever. You gotta check it out if you haven't: • Unfold - Jason Mraz (I...
What a dream it would be to see some crazy wordy session or EP in a similar fashion to that or perhaps the E Minor EP! Idk how it would fit together, but imagine things like Geek, Dynamo, effin did it, gypsy, work in progress, etc. compiled into some kind of live rap release. It's fun to imagine the possibilities :)
