i love his style.. for some reason it reminds me of a folksong style type playstyle... sorta reminds me of simon and garfunkel! i love this, much better than a lot of stuff we get today
There is no need to compare him with Bob. Just feel what his being is singing to you... I think we should drop our minds sometimes, because the mind is responsible for this mechanism like comparison. You will be surprise - even as a male, that to feel is much better than to think sometimes. Your girls too haha ! Don't think about it. This world need more heart. Less mind. When we feel beauty or joy... those kind of things are feeding our inner being and then we'v got much more to share with the outside world. This world is one big celebration - just look outside the window, but don't look at the people... I wish you peace which is within. This is how we could change the world for better place. ;).
well, im late on what these comments are talking about, and i was looking to see how awesome this song is, only to see justin bashing and marley loving. why aren't the comments about the video now? just curious... anyway.. lovely song :] i enjoy jason mraz and his music. makes me feel calm for his softer pieces and his more jazzy pieces make me laugh. he has an interesting sense of humor :]
I suppose you are right I guess this whole thing ties in with "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion". I live by that morally. But I also voice mine because I am "Entitled to it". So Yes, I must say that I find MJ's Music rather..boring. May be because I am young. But I never found his music as fascinating as perhaps you do. I will say that he was a great choreographer. I just find the more melodic music to be "Better" Only in my opinion. I guess that all comes from my surroundings.
The appropriate amount of people will mourn... those who knew Mraz's art. The reason the entire world was crushed by MJ's passing is because MJ's reach stretched across the whole world. And I wouldn't usually take time out to defend someone I don't know, but are you trying to insinuate that Michael Jackson didn't have talent? If so, you are sadly sadly mistaken, even from an objective stand-point. The man's music is timeless, and his stage performances and video art : epic. Please re-evaluate.
i don't listen to Justin bieber, but i wouldn't go as far as to wish him death, if you dont like him dont post comments about him on every video sheesh!!, every time i listen to my favorite songs there is someone ranting about their hate of justin beiber, just don't talk about him, or you might end up crafting in the future another psychopathic former child star
I agree partly with you, but I like this version very much too. I think Jason just covered the song, because he likes it very much and not to make money with it. I'm not sure, but I think he only sings covers at concerts. Anyway, he is a great songwriter, so he doesn't really need to cover somebody else, so I think he only did it because he has much respect for Bob Marley.:)
@xXxDeitiesxXx I generally don't like his kind of music but I find it's not THAT bad, but I don't like his voice either so you could be right ;) But what I'm saying is, that if you don't like him/his music, just don't pay attention to it, and listen to the music you DO like!

I like marley Bob Marley so much and it respects him song, not new versions please me from rule, but there is other it great completely troche. I am surprised. Applause Jason. @leimanaang Good cover song yes. These kids really should check out some of the songs from the 60's and 70's then they will really know what talent is! If you only listen to music from 2000 until now you are missing out on a lot of great original music.

I think marley had gangrene in his toe. But because of his Rastafarian beliefs, he believed the body must ream in whole. So he didn't have it amputated when he had the chance. It later spread to the majority of his body like lungs and I think thts how he died

This is what pisses me off. When my sister went to Jamaica it was a few days after Mike Jackson died and all of Jamaica was crushed. Yet when a person with actual Talent like Jason Mraz dies....How many are gonna mourn?

i think its capo on 1 and open chords i use the chords G D C and Em the strum/picking thing... just play around with ur fingers and u'll figuere it out =)
