I actually think Jason is probably one of the most technically proficient guitarists on the scene right now. He has a great ability to blend melody with the "wtf" technique.

“Hey Jason, which techniques do you think you’ll use on this song?” Jason: “Yes”

MORE people need to do releases like that, literally unheard of for metal and it brings so much hype and publicity.

I make that face when I see YOU play Nick. This is just another level of another level of another level.

Funny enough, the first time i heard Jason was actually as a feature in Polyphia's Aviator, it's cool to see things coming full circle with Tim joining here. I mean, there's no gimmicks, just pure musicianship from everyone, Jason is a monster and Luke is a beast on it's own, but their connection is what brings it in, they were born to play together.

His style of zedd's synth lead from addicted to a memory is sooo great 🔥🔥🔥

That classical guitar passage they man. Top 3 of the track. That's just about impossible to do on a classical guitar. But it's Jason Richardson so basically anything is possible.

Guitar pron, funkiness, and was that some dance-y vibes? Very cool track!

One part of the main riff sounded like it was lifted straight from a polyphia song. Just all out riff chilling 🤘🤘 TIM has such a unique tone.

Upside down is..the way you become while trying to watch at this incredible musicians and their music... Mixed emotions of love, awesomeness, feeling a stupid musician , jajaaj and finally...loving them again.. It's so lifting up..I can't find the words..just ..enjoy listening.. Polyphia music makes me feel the same way...also!

Every time he mixes those arpeggios with that lead synth, it's so Dream Theater-y. You need to react to "ASHEN - Hidden"! It has some of the coolest lead guitar riffs I've heard in a minute, and I think more people need to know about them.

I think the point you made about him being techy and ALSO making the song sound good was spot on.

This one got me a little emotional. There’s few pleasures in life that rival seeing someone do what they do at the highest level. The song was cool too

I love how Nik Nocturnal and Stevie T. are so humble that their reaction to others good guitar playing is always "0h wow, i can never play this!" But in reality, Nik & Stevie can and do shred just as well as those they compliment.

These guys are on different level! They’ve helped and inspired me get back into playing guitar and making music again since I’ve been watching the shred collab videos from Jared Dines. Thank you guys!

Nik nailed it when he said this is the future of guitar-centric music. I’m not sure there is a finer guitarist on the planet than Jason and I know there’s no real way to measure “best” but I’m obsessed with guitar and hate the comparison games usually. But when I see and hear Jason play it’s just a complete different animal entirely. I’m pretty old (48) and I used to think Chris Impelliteri was a different level of speed and technique though not necessarily altogether musically appealing. With Jason…it’s like he doubled Impelliteri’s speed AND threw in a bucket of feel + songrwriting. It’s almost not fair lol. It I’m glad I’m alive to witness this amazing talent in Jason Richardson and really look forward to hearing so much more from him. Oh and LOL at Nik’s last comment that “I suck at guitar”. 😂 Nik if you’re reading this you do NOT suck at guitar but I wholeheartedly know exactly how you feel because i feel like I suck too compared to Jason. As Brian May once said of Nuno Bettencourt, “Not in a month of Sundays could I ever play like him.”
