Jason Sterner takes down Jakob Butturff in the opening match, before moving on to Jason Belmonte. After getting the edge on Belmonte, Sterner advances and beats No. 2 seed Tommy Jones. In the final match, Sterner faces off against No. 1 seed Kris Prather, where the bowlers end the championship round in a "roll-off."
