Jason, from one perfectionist to another, I am SO glad you fixed those kinks in the panels! They would have bothered me every time I saw them if those joints hadn't been smoothed out. There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist, one simply finds the places in life where that characteristics matter most, and apply ourselves to those areas. I can imagine you are meticulous in your treatment and care toward your physical therapy patients. I would be grateful to have a "perfectionist"like you helping me to rehabilitate after an injury or surgery. ✳☑

Great job Jason! The pathway is really starting to come together. Janie I hope you are feeling better. On a side note, have you thought of underplanting your citrus with perennial peanut? I did that here in Florida and it was a cute ground cover that worked to help soil health. Does perennial peanut thrive in your 9b?

Jason, you are so great. I think we all really love seeing you “get into the garden”. There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist, and don’t let anyone ever tell you differently!! I am sure Janey has got to be very thankful for that at times. I can also be a perfectionist. But it means you pride yourself on a job well done. Hope Janey is feeling better.

It came out great! It truly pays to take your time and get it right with any infrastructure items such as this, as you don't want to re-do it later!! Thankfully, Jason made sure of that. One thing I wondered about is the irrigation lines underneath. If the metal edging settles, could it fracture the lines? I was thinking that a piece of pvc slipped over the irrigation lines under the edging where the irrigation lines pass might prevent any damage. Although, if the irrigation lines are deep enough, it may never be an issue. Great job, all!! That was a LOT of work, and it came out beautiful!

I’m team Jason on the make it perfect side.. I’d rather tweak it now than notice my edging is a little off for the next 10 years as I walk by it.. I had a railing off by 1/4 of an inch on one side that nobody ever noticed.. but when I sat on my couch and looked over the two railings were side by side and it was clearly off.. I’d stare at those two rails for years when I was on my couch. Once the stone is in you can’t go back and tweak it.
