JaVale learned to matured overtime. When he first got in the league, he was a goofball and a half. It didn’t help he was around other goofball teams when he was with the Wizards during that time. When Shaq when to make JaVale a continuous joke for all the crazy things JaVale used to do, that eventually affected JaVale. Although he and Shaq went back and forth on that static, I think that situation plus going to Golden State help turned his career around and made him a better player and he learned to mature as a human.

this is a no brainer. McGee barely had any minutes on gsw and Steph is more of a scorer than a passer. McGee played critical minutes on the lakers and got easy buckets with lebron, even had some 20pt games.

He got 10 minutes his first year, ,and he was incredibly effective off the bench. He'd ignite the whole team (or maybe just get Draymond licking his chops about all the crazy lobs he could throw...) and exit after 5 or 6 minutes with half of a double-double plus a block or two. You're right that Steph wasn't usually the one feeding him--as I said, that was Draymond who gets the same rush throwing lobs that Steph gets hurling deep bombs.
