Being an Indian I wish our courts and judges were less merciful and gave befitting punishments to heinous crimes like the judge did in this case to the criminal.

Hats off to Pakistan's judge for giving the same punishment. We don't do this in India, rapists are free here after couple of months

I was in school when this case got in public eyes, I still remember how much terrified we all were when we heard about him, still remember the Jang Newspaper headline and his picture on Jang Newspaper where he was just sitting as if nothing happened. To date I can't understand how can a person be so evil and so malicious to take lives of 100 kids and then submerge their bodies in Acid, whenever I read about him my blood boils.

I still remember I was like 3 or 4 at that time and was in Lahore when we heard about him. That actually was the toughest time for parents to protect their children from him...my elder siblings told me that was the scariest time of their life.

It's sad that he died in jail , and couldn't go through that punishment alive cause they did gave him this punishment even after he died 😢

As a 90s kid, I heard this killer story in Lahore. Then I stop going to video games shops. There was another guy who was also arrested who do the same things to young boys in snooker shop. Yes it was scary days.

I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I still remember I must be around 5 or 6 years old when I heard about this incident from my father, we were at my grandparent's house, all the adults were talking about this case and I overheard them.

I think he learned this way of killing from the Jeffrey Dahmer case, he did the exact same thing, offered money to kids to come with him took photos.. while listening to you I was thinking may be you'd mention Jeffrey somewhere. Man, the world is cruel!

I remember my mother telling me about this when a news channel was covering its “this many years ago” kind of story . Thats when she just briefly told me about this and I wasn’t much older but still remember the chills i got after hearing that one or two liner summary.

i remember this i was very young at that time 5 years old and i heard this story first time from my classmates who accidentally heard her father telling the story to her grandfather and all of the class was shocked to the core. we were so horrified that we flatly refuse to go to school the next day as we were the residents of Lahore. we only heard like 5% of the story that a man killed hundred children and cut their body parts and threw them in drums of acid. It was later that i discovered this whole story and his heinous crime. To this day when ever i hear the name of javed iqbal i immediately starts to feel sick.

I'm appreciating the judge's efforts that he announced and gave him that punishment which is totally right because I think if this thing happened in India no one can gave him that punishment like in nirbhaya case criminals had hang before so long n they didn't gave them punishment immediately

All of this may be attributed to the bloody judges who failed to give the man the punishment he truly deserved. The fact that our nation's law and order is so illogical as a result of the crime he perpetrated in the past continued and claimed the lives of so many countless innocent children makes me feel ashamed and disgusted. Javed is not alone to blame for these cruel deeds; rather, the judges are also at fault for initially sparing him the death penalty.
