im a college thrower and actually what happens is that, although it doesnt seem so, ur hip powering through is what helps make ur throw. what happens when they fall is that the forward momentum and power from your sidesteps make u come forward after you plant the heel. them falling doesnt make it better but usually happens because of a good throw
A javelin moves slower than you think. If you're expecting a javelin to come your way and it does, you have more than enough time to move. The same goes for arrows. You're only in danger if you're packed in close formation and can't run away, or if you're focused on something else and don't see it coming.
isnt this sport must be indoor (a big one lel)(yeah I know this sport in indoor takes a lot of space) since the air could change differently than the other time
they are like; damn, just 85 meters / 278 ft. I really have to get better next time. Me when I finally throw 20 meters / 66 ft; OMG. YEAH. WOEHOE. IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW !??? Haha sorry, I know that 85 may not be good for a person who normally throws 90 or something. So, now you can't comment and hate on that. I cannot throw javelin myself at all... it really ruins my heptathlon...
