Good reaction - 'BABYMETAL Death' was the first track on the first album and was most often used as the opening number in their live shows because it is an introduction - the lyrics are few, but they are simply introducing themselves ("I am Su-metal", "I am Yuimetal", "I am Moametal", "We are BABYMETAL"). There is no TH sound in Japanese, so Su-metal saying "Su-metal death" sounds, to a Japanese speaker, like she is saying "Su-metal desu" with a slight lisp - desu (the U is almost silent) means 'I am, we are, it is etc' and that is how somebody might introduce themselves. Do you have a track list for all three albums? If so what other songs have you not yet heard? Reactions to all of those would be interesting ... maybe put a list somewhere so people can provide you with the best links available for your reactions.
Ah, nice one Grington! I didn't know about the TH sound in Japanese. I've heard most BM music, maybe I skipped Sis Anger by mistake. Should be doing a top 10 list very very soon
@@AlphaWolfRadioWithEdygrimDJ Sounds good - nobody will agree with your top 10 of course, none of us can agree and some of us have trouble limiting the top 10 to 10. :-) Have you watched live versions (not compilation videos ideally although with some, like 'Sis Anger' those are all that is available on RU-vid) of their songs? They are a live performance act and sound so much better live than they do on the albums or in the official videos, especially with the performances they do.

Babymetal’s heaviest in a crazy Prog Metal direction is Tales of the Destinies. I believe there is only one live video out there. It is the marmite of Babymetal songs; I personally really like it. Sis Anger is from Black Babymetal - Yui and Moa giving Su 5 minutes rest
Tales was only ever performed once and that was at Tokyo dome were they finished the concert with tales followed by the one as a tribute to their fans but unfortunately tales hadn’t been played live since

Mostly at dumb boys. : ) The title is a reference to the Metallica song 'St. Anger'. Most of that video was from the Tokyo Dome concert (Black Night) in front of 55,000 people, with additional footage from other concerts. The song was kind of controversial, and the lyrics are a bit rude, especially coming from young Japanese girls.
The title of this song is an homage and play on words to Metallica's "St. Anger". The girls are basically saying they want to hurt crappy guys that make them mad with their horrible selfish ways. "I will knock your ill-nature into shape. I will burn down everything with flare of anger." BLACK BABYMETAL (a nickname when a song is by just Moa and Yui) songs are the heaviest of all the BABYMETAL songs, and in my opinion, this song is the heaviest and most lyrically aggressive so far. Even their choreography is aggressive with its kicks, punches, and angry looking moves.

Not bad for mid-teenage High School Students, Huh?!?! This is just Yui and Moa as Black Babymetal, which no longer exists because Yui left the band for health reason. For something more current react to Pa Pa Ya or BxMxC. Are into power metal? If so checkout Lovebites a good start would be Shadow Maker or Swan Song; FYI they do not look like a metal band.
