This is an attempt to clarify a subject the both qualified clinicians and undergraduates find confusing. How to choose between Centric Occlusion and Centric Relation and work out how to decide on the vertical dimension should be established.

Why doesn’t the lab do this ? Is it different occlusal contacts in mouth compared to models

Thankyou. What material do you recommend to use for bite reg.? I usually use hard fast set PVS

I use ZnO. Have you asked you lab about their view on PVS bite registration materials. Many don’t like it al all.
