Jawa 350/639 - Speedometer Gauge Overhaul 

Hello, in this video we'll look at and overhaul the speedometer gauge. It will be nearly completely disassembled. This gauge is not a Jawa one, although it looks similar, it is coming from Skoda 120 and we can tell this by the daily ODO counter, which Jawa didn't had. Otherwise the gauge is exactly the same. At socialist times, the parts were very commonly shared between brands (f.e. Jawa, CZ, Skoda, Tatra etc.). And since there is the daily counter, which has a shaft coming through the glas directly, water came into the gauge and it did rust very heavily inside...
