I watched it last night and I completely agree with the picture quality. The HDR was very good as well as clarity. But the audio is really bad and I was extremely disappointed with it. However, I am still glad I upgraded for the picture. Thanks for the review.

The steelbook looks great. The picture looks great - the audio should have gotten a serious upgrade, especially w/ John Williams' great score. The Special Features are..., 22 years old!! Damn, Universal give us something new. The Daily Jaws did a deep dive on Jaws 2 & was able to get interviews w/ more than half the cast including Jeffery Kramer & Director Jeannot Szwarc. I remember seeing Jaws 2 w/ my folks on opening weekend & I didn't go night swimming in the family swimming pool for a week!

welll... i've watched JAWAS 2 almost at least 10 times a year as i saw this opening weekend in 1978. my fave jaws to date! iTunes just released the 4K version and i have to say, i was sooooo impressed with the quality. some scenes were that dreamy fuzz but over all it was pretty amazing! i never knew Tina's red shirt was a felt material. i always thought it was just a red t shirt. the clarity was amazing. this is the best it will ever look and i'm completely satisfied. also.. i never knew who the water skier was until the 4K i saw her face so clear. lol

Agreed about the steel book, being fantastic, however, I think it's a missed opportunity to have had the original poster art on the front and the new art work of the "shark pursuit" on the rear of the steel book. Just would have been a bonus all around. Audio has alwayos been dismal, at best and was always a mono track. The original was also mono, but the sound design of the remastered Atmos audio, takes the soundtrack to a new level.

Thanks dude i appreciate all your hard work with these videos. I just went with the slipcover Edition, says it's coming in tomorrow. I was just curious, do you ever get damaged steelbooks when you order them online? My John Wick 4 steelbook was practically falling apart when I received it. It's happened with multiple different movies so I'm always hesitant to order steelbooks

Tbh I'm perfect fine without going crazy for a new audio mix, especially since most of the time, 5.1 remixes change a lot of the original sound effects which weren't present in the original, which really does take me out of the film most of the time. I'm happy to hear that the picture quality is stellar, so I'm definitely gonna get this as a huge collector as well as a huge fan of this film

I liked enough about Jaws 2 to justify a 4K repurchase to upgrade my DVD copy. In the closing scene with the cable, Brody needed a better buzz line than "Open wide .... say ahh." How about this rewrite: "Here .... come floss the flesh from those pearly whites, you son of a ...."

Jaws, the first one, is a stand alone film. The sequels only diminish it. I do agree with you about the steelbook though.

Does this come with a digital code? It only says HD on Movies Anywhere. I don't see the 4k stream listed anywhere. Only HD.

I think we know the reason for getting the Steelbook, to look at the girl’s booty lol. Honestly Jaws 2 is fun and a solid sequel especially to such a classic. I hope the final 2 get 4K releases also even though they are not as good. I mean Jaws 3 is still cheesy but Revenge is still an abomination.

You are correct. This needed at least a 5.1 upgrade. The audio is very poor on it sadly. Picture is very good though.

@@RK-jp4xethey did correct a few issues with the previous Audio track though so it’s not entirely lacking. The picture quality is actually a huge improvement over the previous blu so it’s worth it for that alone.
