One of the only songs in history that most people can identify with just two notes. Shows how iconic this masterpiece is. And Spielberg's first reaction to it was asking Williams, "No, seriously. What do you have?"

Such an iconic sound, you know exactly what this is after a couple of notes. The movie was terrifying as well. I will never forget the opening scene of that movie.

When Williams first started developing this theme, he simply kept pressing four keys with his index fingers moving left and right (dun-dun-dun-dun). Speilberg thought Williams was joking at the time.

It actually still exists in Japan (and there is also still the part of the Studio Tour in Hollywood that the Florida ride was based on)

Most of the time this music is playing you can't see shark.. Thats the power of a good score. But while I'm not a fan of remakes A tastefully done remake with original script and modern special effects would be out of this world

Cage diving in Cali some years back and we did a test where we played the jaws theme under water and the sharks seemed to become more agitated is the word I'd use. Sadly only did it once so haven't confirmed if the theme was reason for agitation. but dont worry my fellows science with prevail, when I can afford to do it again.

When first presented with the score for _Jaws_ by John Williams, Steven Spielberg thought it was a joke. He thought audiences would laugh in theaters and leave when they heard the music. Williams would be the one laughing though, after he won the Oscar for _Best Original Score_ the following year.

Seriously love this, the only thing I would say needs to be improved upon is the drums, in the actual theme I feel (for me personally) the feeling of jumpy dread is carried by the drums as i the general sense of rising tension & fear, I feel it play upon the drums use heavily in this aspect, HOWEVER, I really appreciate & am genuinely impressed how you managed to take that off the drums & place those rising feeling in the wind instruments, Honestly, I have seen your videos but i always feel something missing. usually the drums, but THE FACT you managed to completely shift that feeling to another set of instruments is honesty worthy of all our respect & admiration, Keep Up The Amazing work! (also sorry for the criticisms, but hey you cant grow or get better without hardships, criticisms, trials!)

We at Phoenix Studios are in the works of a Jaws sequel, starring Sebastian Stan and we have Mike Flanagan, (Doctor Sleep) signed on as director. Steven Spielberg has said he has no interest in being involved but we are hoping to have him as an executive producer. This really isn’t fake, I hope you can come and check it out once we have it finished and the trailer uploaded to our channel.

I find Bruce the G.W-Shark from JAWS just as scary as Gojira from Godzilla-Minus1. Why, you may ask? They're small enough to give you a glimmer of hope that they can be stopped. But powerful & deadly enough to make you 💩 your pants when you see them coming. Especially if their theme kicks in.
