Typing through tears…. My Dad was killed in a plane crash (military) when I was 6 years old (I’m 65 now) and my mother never remarried. She had a picture of my dad on her nightstand all my life. She passed away recently as I whispered to her that she would soon be reunited with her precious husband. She never stopped loving him and this song gave me the sense of what life would have been like had they had their whole life together! Thank you, thank you, thank you for filling an incredible place in my heart with your words and music!

My favorite arrangement! I lost my Mom this summer. My Dad had gone before her ten years ago. They met as next door neighbors in 8th grade, married a couple years after high school and celebrated their 54th Anniversary together before my Dad passed. Started with a kiss on the cheek, ended with a kiss. I was so lucky to have found a man who checks everything on that list…except letting me win at games lol. I married him 39 years ago.
