Tara might of been around the life of the sons. But Wendy lived around the life of the sons which is why she wanted them away. So did Tara, wendy, and jax. That's why I did not like gemma she wanted them to live in jax's footsteps, and jax did not. He wanted what was better for them as well as both mothers do.
"He'll never call you mommy" and in the end Wendy was called mommy by her son and Tara's son. Wendy was the sickest person in the beginning. She was the healthist in the end.
I still can’t believe how beautifully Kurt Sutter managed to redeem Wendy. She was a completely different person by the end of the series. She had earned this. One hundred percent.
@@jessicacampbell4142 me neither and like you, I was very happy for her somewhat happy ending. She got a better resolution this time around as opposed to her characters fate in The Sopranos.
Kind of cute how Abel is around his parents well his real mom and dad Tara was a good mom to but Wendy definitely deserved this her smile was so genuine when he looked at her
That’s what makes this show so good. The dichotomy inside of Jax that of a good man and a criminal. He battles with it constantly. Like the DA “Do you ever struggle with your need to be a good man?” “I struggle with all my needs”….Jax is such a well written character so much depth. His development as a chartered is even interesting.
@@telleroflies4373 no he did what he had to in that life very few can just walk away my older brother was an og back when and they had a hit on him but the guy who was sent to kill him didn't because my aunt (who raised me his mother had just passed the people who actually walk away its by the grace of God for real because for most it's only one way out and besides jax had to commit suicide because he got the mayhem vote that ment that his club brothers were supposed to kill him but he told them (I got this) and that's why he committed suicide
I felt bad for Wendy. Wendy really did love Jax but unfortunately for her she had a fatal flaw. It was a flaw that Jax would never be able to look past and Wendy herself knew what that flaw was: she wasnt Tara
@@anthonycampos8057 He did care about her, but I think he loved her too, just not romantically. You are correct about the fatal flaw. That was a great explanation.
jax did the best he could. if wendy had been able to keep her life together he was willing to try to make it work. at the time he didnt understand that a child isn’t enough to keep a marriage together. he did love wendy. just not the way he loved tara.
I think about this scene sometimes and it was the last really good moment Jax Teller got to have. Soon after this; he learned the truth about Tara and Gemma which lead to the decisions that resulted in his “last ride”. It was an epic end to a great show but never the one I’d choose for a character I related to on such a personal level and I’ve often wondered what if he’d kept his word to Abel from this scene and made sure he “always had a daddy and a mommy”.
Wendy turned into an amazing kind soul. It really is something wild to watch what drugs can do to somebody. She played a perfect example of how someone so dirty and careless can sober up and be one of the best people you've ever seen. She's a great example of that. 😊 this scene always got me. She's a great character.
for me he told him bc Tara was dead and he knew at some point he will be too so he told Abel bc he wanted him to have someone if Tara was still alive he wouldn't have say anything Tara would have done it
Silvio let her go. She likes bad boys, left addicted ChRISTOPHAAA', escaped to Cali, found JAX, but Christopha's ghost made her an addict. She pulled it out though. :D
She also told Jax about her past identity and what happened to her back in Jersey, leading him to use the phrase 'Did you think I brought you here to Adriana you' when he spooked Luann!
I felt bad for Wendy. Wendy really did love Jax, but unfortunately for her Jax didn't feel the same way. And the reason he didn't feel the same way is because Wendy had a fatal flaw. It was a flaw that Jax would never be able to look past and Wendy herself knew what that flaw was: she wasn't Tara
Wendy is the only person who ends the show a better person than they were at the start of it. She deserves the happy ending she gets (though it's bittersweet because the man she loves the most is dead).
@@anthonycampos8057 Although not happy at the moment, in the long run they will be okay, Wendy even appears in Mayans to confirm that. Away from charming and away from this life of chaos, all that Jax wanted from them
We had to tell our oldest daughter the truth and i wanted it to come from us instead of hearing it from someone else, i thought she would hate me but thankfully she understood at 5 years old.❤
Ngl, the first time i was watching this show and i reached this scene, i cried like a bitch and had to take a break. During the first 2 seasons i was like Gemma, calling Wendy a useless junkie for what she done while being pregnant with Abel, but man, throughout the seasons Wendy really pulled through and came around. She definitely deserved this.
jax, imo, always loved wendy, just like gemma said she did. He wasnt in love w/ her the way he was with tara but he loved the person wendy was before the drugs got involved i think they all knew that if the drugs never came into her life that she was going to be a really good mother & in the end she got that chance to show that
Honestly to me I don't think this was the right time to tell him that his real mommy was Wendy, at the same time he needs to know who his real mom is cuz he needs to know he still has a mother in his life I really feel bad for him
There's never a good time to tell anyone something like that. But I think it was definitely best for Abel. He needed to know that he still had a mommy there with him
@@ParableYTV well from my experience personally Going through what Abel did either leads you down one road or the other But Jax did what he felt was best.
@Paulo Silva still could.happen though. Depending on what wendy tells Abel about his father. And gemma did give him John's "son" ring. May have some questions that need answered. And when gemma is talking to herself (aka Tara's spirit) she says she thinks Thomas might be a doctor like her but Abel has that look in his eye. That club shit is in his blood. Not to mention not having his dad around causes angst in young men. A lot of foreshadowing there.
Yeah well Jax mother was driving stoned and nearly got the kids killed too murdered Tara that's the thanks she got for having Jax kid and helping Abel too and Jax and his Mother both tried to murder Wendy with overdoses I don't know why she still has any love for him and not just her kid he's very abusive he assaulted that porn star after he cheated on Tara with her too murdered his own Mother had he lived he likely would have gotten the boys killed also. Hopefully he will get his wish and the boys will grow up hating him.
And this was my main problem with Tara. She kept acting like she gave birth to him. And yes Tara is the only mother abel knew but like you aren't his actual mother dammit
Tara was the only mommy Abel knew until this moment so thats all that counts Tara was there from his birth until her death Again that is all that counts
Nope. Not at aaaaaall. Tara was the best mother those kids could have had. Willing to die if she was caught taking them by the hands if the very people she loved and supported, to get those kids out of a toxic situation. That's a true mother. Blood doeant matter. Watch some more NatGeo. Even in the animal kingdom every now and then a momma of a different species will protect and raise a baby regardless because that mother instinct to nurture and protect is SO STRONG THAT IT TRANSCENDS BLOOD OR LOGIC.
Damn, Wendy took so much shit from life and the Sons and Gemma and Tara it's not even funny. But the way Sutter and his team of writers took the direction and pace of her character's development was brilliant. She probably has the best character development of all. This scene actually got me misty and I'm a 6'3 hetero black man. As many emotional scenes as there were in the entire series, this is one of a very few that actually tug on the heart strings how it did.
I didn’t care for her character she played the victim, and she wasn’t over her addiction, the scene where Gemma was helping the mom with her addiction; and Wendy was going to use again if she wasn’t interrupted. So know she wasn’t redeemed and when you look at the last scene when Jax said to Abel you can call her mommy, it’s okay he didn’t and I think he will never had seen her as his mom. I wished we could have seen how Abel and Thomas have grown and the club. She was glad Tara was out of the way just how she moved in on the situation of Tara passing.
1.They were twins. 2 .It was their first role. 3.The character`s depressed. This isn`t how they are IRL. 4.There`s more to acting than charisma. Characters aren`t all politicians,ya know!
Lon Tanner a 6 yr old is not responsible for being casted, my criticism cannot be against the kid. whoever made the choice to cast that 6 yr old greatly fucked up. How come I have to explain that to u?
@@eval7952 The thing was when Abel and Thomas were babies, they used twin baby girls . When they were prepubescent, they recasted the production designer`s twin sons as Abel and a different baby as Thomas.
