Notice how defensive NFL players dont want to play against JF1 throwing to MHJr AND DJ, but offensive players light up when they are asked similar questions? It's a no-brainer to me, trade down, and get MHJr plus more starting caliber pick. You can't double team both DJ and MHJr, which leaves Kmet and one of them 1 on 1, and if they use a spie on Fields, thats even more freedom to roam...

The majority of people saying trade Fields are radio/tv host,not many who played the game….And yes the Bears need a 1st round wide receiver…However the interior of that offensive line was horrendous this year…Even when they were at full strength,there was no continuity, and they struggled to pick up stunts by the Defense…Big picture Justin and his camp would welcome a trade(sounds like he’s already discussed it with his boys)

which is why imo it makes more sense to go WR with the higher pick so they can use the 9 to either get o line or trade down to the teens and get OL and a few more picks. Even if Fields does bad, its better to bring a new QB in next year or the year after, they will have way less to do

Yep, thank goodness l legal weed exists !!!!Jax an awesome player, sure he has some issues but it doesn’t matter. Justin feels so talented he’s incredibly intelligent, his character, work ethic are off the charts, some of the best non-intangible points that make him, in my opinion one of the best choices for any position let alone quarterback. he could probably play any position a good linebacker, receiver, etc. He’s got a great work ethic he can adjust, his character is not going to freak out he was raised right about food which is really awesome because a lot of guys don’t give a damn they don’t care about what’s healthy we’re doing research but I believe he does so Field is a great choice because of those things that are not about football.

Fields is on his rookie contract this upcoming season. If the Bears take his 5th year, which they will if they're keeping him, then they would owe Justin 20 million in 2025 which still isn't that much for a QB. So in reality, you don't have to give him a new contract for another 2 seasons.

Two things. 1. They're former teammates of Fields so of course they're going to say nice things. 2. They're receivers, their job is to catch the ball, not evaluate talent. If I'm listening to anyone about Justin Fields it's going to be a coach who game planned to stop Justin Fields and who stopped him aka Sean Payton. Second person I'm a listen to is Quay Walker who's team had the same game plan as Sean Payton and who also stopped Fields, it's been 5 years since the Bears beat the Packers so I'm listening to them more than Justin Fields fans.
