Sokodomo really added an element of fun tot he song. He asked to be on the song at the last minute and wrote his rap on the spot and JAY B liked it so much!
I agree. I know many people are weirded out of Sokodomos part. I for one loved his involvement and he's a great artist imo. He makes great and fun music.
I always expected him to go into R&B, considering his soundcloud, it's only the lyrics that surprised me a bit. He has written sex music before but his language is usually more flowery and indirect, more..lyrical? But this was quite direct and considering how they (JAY B, Cha Cha and Jay Park) wrote this song in only a few hours, I can tell which parts JAY B wrote - "pour myself all over you", "explore every bit of you" "you're too beaming to look at", "want you to hold me tight". These are more his style. I could be wrong ofcourse but usually he writes the korean parts himself so I can tell a bit. Also, I love that he went with a lighter song as his debut. I'm excited to see what he comes out with next now that the song made records for Korean soloists!
I am very happy because Jay B can now share his musical creations with us in complete freedom. By the lyrics, "Switch It Up" reveals to us a more mature facet of Jay B.
