Hi Mr. Beat! I thoroughly enjoy all of your video's and see them as an opportunity to fill in the knowledge gaps! I would like to propose a new subject for a number of video's in preparation to the presidential elections. Although it seems that the race will be run (again!) between Trump and Biden, I think it could be useful to highlight the spectrum inside the Democratic party, because if progression is to be made, the solutions are there to be found. As an example (and kick off) I like to propose the political views of Dean Phillips on Government reforms and healthcare: Dean Phillips on Government Reform • Disclose all election spending, including online ads. (Apr 2020) • End "revolving door" between Congress & lobbyists. (Apr 2020) • Backing bill to overturn Citizens United. (Feb 2019) • Doesn't accept money from federal lobbyists or PACs. (Oct 2018) • PVS:Regulate campaign donations from corporations. (Aug 2018) • Holiday on election day; revamp for easier voting access. (Mar 2019) • Sponsored bill to expand voter registration and voter access. (Feb 2021) • Sponsored impeachment of Trump for inciting insurrection. (Jan 2021) • Sponsored bill for statehood for Washington D.C. (Apr 2021) • Sponsored "Protecting Our Democracy" to restrict president. (Dec 2021) Dean Phillips on Health Care • Provide VA resources for physical & mental health care. (Apr 2020) • Fix and improve the Affordable Care Act. (Apr 2020) • Strengthen Medicare by controlling rising healthcare costs. (Apr 2020) • Support mental health programs for children. (Apr 2020) • Offer Medicare as a public option. (Oct 2018) • Keep healthcare mandate, according to CC survey. (Jul 2018) • Keep ObamaCare, according to PVS survey. (Aug 2018) I sincerely hope you give your audience a glimpse to a possible political future.
I have been subbed to Jay since around 2014 and love his content. I only found out about this interview (4 Months later) from JJLA, and came here to watch the full interview!
I love Jay! I have found myself on many a late night watching and re-watching Map Men and Unfinished London. Like “I need to sleep. Oooh, I liked this one, let’s watch it again.” *6 hours lateerr *. Great guest, great show Mr. Beat.
My favourite thing about Jay's video is that it's not just him, he has a dozen other of his friends just playing parts here and there, even in videos going back a decade, that's kind of unheard of on a one person channel
I have to say, this is just a great interview. Both because Jay is incredibly funny and because you are a great conversationalist who came up with a very specific and pertinent set of questions, Mr. Beat
Great stuff! Watched it live from start to finish and I really enjoyed it. Jay is funny, interesting to listen to, and seems like a great guy! Thank you to both of you for making this happen, and an extra thank you to Mr. Beat for reaching out to Jay.
I came across Jay's content as I was planning my trip to London in 2018 and I became hooked on Jay's channel, especially Map Men. Great interview! Hope you come out with more content Jay! Huge fan! Still waiting on Geoff and Jay go up the rest of the A1. Greetings from California!
Jay has a natural funniness that cannot be taught. I don't think he was trying to be funny for most of the video, but everything he said was hillarious.
I would just like to add that I found Jay Forman's videos and channel through JJLA's reaction videos. I have subscribed and watched all the original videos as well as JJLA's reactions to them.
RE; Reaction Vids. I watch them in the same way I watch Goggle Box (UK TV series where you watch people watching TV shows). 1) To see a sample of stuff I might actually enjoy myself; but would never have thought to look for without seeing a sample. 2) To see others see something I love; but have watched at least a dozen times and seeing it through their eyes gives a new perspective. Jay's Vids are firmly in 2. I've already watched and re-watched all of Jay's vids many many times. I practically know it word for word now, so I need a new way of watching and enjoying it. The Reaction isn't just enhanced by the reactor adding detail and explanations. Sometimes it can be as simple as their laughter; or seeing the reactor learn something new; reminding me of how I felt when I saw it for the first time.
I love the way Jay makes great effort to make hilarious sponsor skits on all his videos. Proabbly all part of the philosophy offrequent changes to keep attention he spoke of, but the effort and ingenuity he puts in is appreciated. I doubt any other RU-vidr gives better value for money to a sponsor. (maybe Lindybeige puts in sincere effort too but doesn't do the funny)
Idk how you’d do the 10 questions, but I think it’d be fun and hilarious to interview the crew from jet lag: the game. And if you haven’t watched it at all yet, you’re really missing out.
I had to take a quick pause to watch Jay’s “where do you get your food from, grandma?” because it was so insanely stuck in my head after seeing his face
It’s funny, the gaps in Mr. Beat’s knowledge of British RU-vid and vice versa. Pretty significant channels like Vlogbrothers, TomSka and David Bennett Piano haven’t made it on the radar.
I remember Monsieur Mangetout and his plane-eating antics. He was briefly famous when I was a teenager. I seem to remember him announcing he was going to eat the Eiffel Tower, but I'm not sure if he ever did. One day I must go to Paris to check.
Jay, I've watched a ton of people react to your brilliant map men, but never visited the real map men, and I think if people were honest, that's true for a lot of people.
People get demonitized and channels shut down for no legitimate reason all the time. Too many scam channels re-editing and then claiming the content of the original creator. If it doesn't change original creators could be driven off RU-vid for good.
mr beat, when it comes to new music you have to check out the latest in experimental electronic music. artists like EPROM, Ivy Lab, G Jones are all making fresh tunes. promise it’s nothing like you’ve heard before
@@iammrbeatwow, very cool of you mr beat! if you’re interested in a specific song; Everything All at Once by G Jones might just be my favorite song of all time. but anyways thanks for checking it out 😎 - the_coolbanana69 from twitch
@@iammrbeatthat's understandable. I remembered it because of the quote from his VP Thomas Marshall, "Death had to take him sleeping. For if Roosevelt had been awake, there would have been a fight."
