Reminds me of an article I read about how to deal with an aggressive dog you encounter while out walking: "Loudly say, 'Stop! Go home!' This works even with dogs that don't speak English." Good to know if I encounter that dog who speaks German.

Carson and then Leno was the only show I watched. Never watched again after Jay retired. Kimmel, etc. are lame-o no talents. KIds today think Kimmel is funny because they never saw Carson or Jay. No more good guests like Martin, Sinatra, Rickles, Gobel, Davis,Jr., Little, Dangerfield, etc.

My Dad's favorite was when Rodney Dangerfield was on The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson resigned. My Dad would always run to get me when Dangerfield was introduced so we could watch them together. My Dad would talk about that segment on Carson with me for days later. So I have the warmest and best memories from the REAL "Good 'Ol Days" of late night! 🥰❤❤❤
