I always enjoyed Jay on The Andy Williams show! I'm sure this was tough for him to do by himself but he should be so proud of what he has accomplished by putting together this show! I am a little sad though that he seems sad.... Or maybe he's just being nostalgic! Congratulations Jay on the show success!
Blown away!!! I know Jay put his heart in soul into this and it shows. These guys are so good. The energy that have is right up there with what I remember from all the brothers. Awesome job Jay.
Huge congratulations to Jay! I can’t wait for this to come to the US… I hope it hasn’t been here already! I really want to see it. These kids are great… I mean they aren’t the Osmond’s but they’re pretty darn close! Much success to all of you and thank you for sharing this with the world❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic interview! I’m so proud of Jay for all the time and hard work he has put into creating his musical. Jay Osmond is truly an amazing and extremely talented guy! 🎶😁💚
I saw The Osmonds at Madison Square Garden back in 1973. I also believe it was Marie Osmond‘s first public performance. I would love to know what the decibel rating was when the screaming started I had to put my hands over the ears. The show was awesome. They put some of their karate moves, which they learn from Chuck Norris. The brothers played everything from guitar to the banjo to the flute this video clip as she falls short I believe in how great the brothers were in their dance moves.
Jay has been my favorite since the Andy Williams days!! I couldn’t be happier for or prouder of him! I know he’s put a LOT of work into this musical!! Thanks for a great interview!!
These boys are as polished as the real Osmonds. They are joyful to watch and it is quite special to hear Jay’s perspective as an individual and member of this lovely family ❤️
I love the Osmonds. I waited 30 years before I saw my idol Donny at Blickling Hall. He was worth the wait. I’ve seen him and the brothers many times since and they are amazing. A lovely family.
Wow congratulations to Jay✨ and thank you everyone that has been apart of this incredible performance. The dance moves are amazing, and to hear Jay story and musical 🎤 singing Osmond songs is such an heartfelt feeling gratitude how they have touched many heart’s around the world. If it doesn’t come to Perth Australia 🇦🇺 I hope that I can buy The Osmond musical 🎶 💫💕🤗💗 Sending love from Australia 🇦🇺 xx This is so awesome and wishing Jay and all the performances all the best 🌟. 🎵So happy for you all xx
I met him this evening at Dublin airport Totally random I was flying from Dublin to London and he was in the departures lounge at Dublin airport his wife was with him I didn’t know who he was at first We just got chatting about Ireland Then his wife told me about the musical I said I was a lady of a certain age and remembered the osmonds really well And he introduced himself really lovely man a complete gentleman
I’m good thank you Nina. Yes if you type in Osmond musical on you tube you will see lots of clips. The whole thing has not been recorded. But clips are available including some I did. Xx
@@trudyappleby1622 Thank you Trudy ill try it again i have tried to search for it and haven't been able to find it? God is awesome and i will find it 🙏
The energy is good and even the dancing and singing can be entertaining and fun. But, it must have been hard to find actor/singers who each look enough like one of the Osmonds and who can also perform as much as possible like him. It seems that any one of the actor/singers here could have been either Alan or Wayne or Merrell or Jay since none look specifically like the one particular performing Osmond brother. Merrell should have lighter brown hair. I was not sure if the performance was generalizing since it seemed that "Jay"" or "Alan" was singing lead on "Love Me For A Reason." In reality, Merrell did most of the lead singing. The one that seems to play Donny isn't "teenager-ish" enough. Honestly, I don't think it will work on Broadway.
5:40 That particular dance move is one I don't believe I ever saw the real Osmonds do . It seems that the original set of moves were altered to a good extent to make it obvious that this performance is not a pure carbon copy. It seems this particular routine is to mimic the performance that the real Osmonds did on the Flip Wilson Show in 1971. The replica costumes on the imitators are really too economically made, let's say.
Vocals are spot on but the dance moves and choreography can't be matched bc the real osmonds were doing it for years and were truly in sync, the costumes I give a C
@@elisatharp434 I read somewhere that the other members of the family are not supporting the show and that Jay has made their father look abusive. Don't know if that is true!?
