I love both versions... But This one does it for me... Just because I'm such a fan of Jay's voice and sound. He has a way of bringing his own type of emotion to a song.
I pretty much played this song on repeat for 9 months while I was pregnant and my 3 week old baby loves it 😂. Whenever he’s having a fit and I put this on he calms right down.
Such an incredible talent, I discovered him shortly after he toured my country and was instantly hooked, then he passed away only a year or so later, couldn't believe it.

Wonder when Beck will try out his falsetto voice again. This version just reminded me of his glory days. When I realised I owned a pair of Raybans (the wayfarers) before Beck I realized he had lost some of his cool. But man can he jive the hipster sound.
Such a fuckin fantastic cover. I’m just discovering Mr Reatard but he was a living rock god and ahead of his time. All of his music still holds up miraculously. I wonder if he can see how he’s slowly becoming popular and acclaimed. Love you Jay, your soul comes around once in a millennium. You were taken too soon man.
I was just making a comment on how I managed to spot a trend before someone who has made a career of being trendy. I used the comparison in a a somewhat joking matter.

Really study his evolution in music bro it’s more than “copying” that’s complete bullshit, the love and devotion Jay put in his music was serious and meant a lot to him.
