I imagine that Greg Oblivion finds these videos hard to watch. He loved this kid like a son, taught him to play REAL chords and NEVER TAKE ANY SHIT. JAY YOU WEREN'T THE BEAST WE COULD HANDLE.
Thanks man. I always feel like i'm in a dream. Everything looks strange and foreign, feels like I don't belong in comparison to everything else. This gets worse if I don't get enough sleep.
tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/jay_reatard/nightmares_acoustic_tab.htm Just in case someone wants to learn this to play with some friends around a camp fire.
@valentinecochran I know it's some kinda delay/reverb thing but it's a pedal or a effect box i believe and I'm wondering which kind it is, especially in some other songs he get the "megaphone" effect perfectly, but Jay was awesome so who knows but him.
Well, it may be bland in your opinion, but that's what makes music so thoroughly fascinating, that everybody has their own taste. Jay wasn't overly hyped, he was just great. Over 100 singles, two completely different full length albums proved that.
Damn dude, that sounds intense... I get that feeling of not belonging in comparison to everything else, but I think it's more from being an antisocial than a medical condition :P. But all jokes aside I wish you the best, keep on keepin' on! (and listening to good music (like jay))
@pitch30320 Well he's certainly using reverb on his voice, but I don't think his guitar is using it at all, that's just a good acoustic recorded nicely :)
I honestly don't see why this(meaning him) is so hyped. Nothing new or creative or interesting is going on here. I think maybe people only like him because he died. Yeah, you can respond to this comment and hate on me but ask yourself, what on Earth makes this so worthy of all the hype? You'll try to find reasons but you will fail because it's just not there. This is boring. Sorry. Not necessarily my opinion. It's just simply bland.
