Sold fake life story? He sells his advice. Take it or leave it. There may be influencers who are illiterate. Then you will charge them for fraud? If you benefit that is good advice. Else bad advice. These stories are paid for or some agenda driven clearly. He is not a surgeon to be scrutinised for qualification.

I saw through him always. Even tried to like him, because all my friends did. I never could take anything he said serious. Too many flaming red flags for me...the first one being that he became lustful and gave up monkhood to marry...this shows his character fully for me. Not someone I will take any advice from nor do I respect. Hope he's called out more, and charged with all the plagiarism he's committed. How was he granted USA citizenship?

He may have done this, but remember that the Dharma isn't the property of anyone. Truth doesn't belong to any particular faith. If he misrepresented Buddhist teachings however, that is very different.

There are many who have lied about their past, their intentions, or spread lies about others to build their propaganda with really dangerous repercussions. Will they be punished for these consequences. In truth these other liars many of them deserve CapitOl punishment for their propaganda. Or, some of them atleast deserve to be sent to Rwanda.
