it's not possible someone just offered to take Slater along the coast, as Slater had no idea whare he would be only 3 hours beforehand! If anyone took him by boat, it was all arranged well ahead of Sunday night. Assuming it was all arranged, and assuming the intention was to scam the public with a gofundme while Slater was alive and well in Morocco, then the boat theory makes perfect sense, but not to just take him to Los Cristianos.

@GA-fz2wt he wasn't taken to hospital and he wasn't at all dehydrated.. now where did you read that? The man who was found said the Spanish police lied! He was completely fine and didn't need a rescue as he's a hiker experienced in that mountain!

That is what was reported in the media. The hiker has since come forward and explained that he was not in need of any assistance. He is perplexed as to why the story has been spun that way. By all accounts he knew where he was and where he was going and with plenty of food an water.

So, even if you disappierd somebody can found you. Jay is not there. Is impossible nobody saw him

Miles away mountain is huge in Tenerife and bare all looks the same easy to get lost on there,they found another fella lost yesterday whilst searching for Jay who was missing he was dehydrated in a bad way a hiker who had fell into a ravine. Age 51. Taken to hospital. Lucky

@@GA-fz2wt The hiker has since said he was not lost but in the middle of a planned hike when the searchers forced him to go back with them. He claimed the rescue was bogus and an attempt to distract from the failure to find Jay.

It's a volcanic landscape and this kid was....well, manifestly ignorant and dumb as we all are in youth. We don't understand. Firstly, he's either still drunk or hungover. The road loops - it's very easy to see a scenario where he thought he could cut across to an opposing loop of road or just for a piss, only to find he's too exhausted to climb back up. Most of us never get to that point but once your resources go - and he'd also be tired and no idea when he last ate - your legs just fold. Then he's got no landmarks because of the terrain, it's cold, there's altitude AND he's exposed to sun. With no sunblock. The landscape is pocked with holes, divots and crevices so either he fell and is injured or most likely decided to shelter in a crevice then his BP floored out. These urban street-rat kids are bizarrely sheltered, they only operate in an urban environment but don't realise those limitations. Here he's fucked. The ONLY land-marker is the road and that requires being above it; his sight-line could lose it very easily, especially as dehydration and exhaustion leave you reeling like a drunk. Occam's razor takes you a long way before you have at best a disposable runner hanging out with the big drug boys.
