The exact reason. Our writers and reformers in 20 th century is the sole reason for this high quality. I am wondering, the literature works of ours , which are obvsly in Malayalam, are similarly of better quality than other languages.

In Mukundanunni Associates, Basil Joseph plays himself but doesn't appear on screen. If I remember correctly, it was something like Unni asking him for a favor or case, and Basil asks him to forget about it and go away on phone.

Even if Amir Khan remakes this , Malayalam is the OG one. Give them love. Well said Rick. Sad to see Hindi films brainstorm session be like whats poppin in kerala. Let’s remake and get ourself some credit. Atleast the Hindi film should begin the film with giving credit to the original one . In BiG Bold manner and the actors and directors should mention that in their pr which they are so good at.

Women shouldnt have to learn martial arts to get respect. I do agree on that but in this society we will have to do something to change the existing ways and learning self defence was only one of the ways the makers suggested. I dont find that wrong. In practical world, we cant expect society will change on its own, if we are suffering, we have to find a way or someone else has to find a way and others follow. This has been how things change in this society for time immemorial. Simply expecting society to change on its own doesnt happen in real world and I know its not fair but life in our society have never been fair...especially for women.

More power to girls who go through this and wish they come out of such bad situations .... I would also recommend to watch tamil movie 'Love Today' released in 2023... This is the most again fun and culturally attached movie of today's kids... It's a tamil movie.... Soooo good... Again an example of a movie which done with such a low budget could make rings in the box office.... If you can watch Great Indian Kitchen and Jaya Jaye... I certainly think you can connect to Love today movie as well

They have to go for counselling,etc before granting divorce. She will get dowry( money, gold, car etc). Remember in great indian kitchen the girl driving the red car at the end given as dowry?

The Judge will just hold the marriage for 6 months not more than that, because sometimes couples makes rash decisions and they may regret it later but after that their divorce will be accepted. The "Solid reason" one needs is mainly to do with alimony, wealth share and child support in case the divorce is not mutual.
