Jayaprada has a career spanning over 4 decades, nearly 300 films with memorable performances in every language she has acted in. She took the effort to learn to speak Hindi at least well enough to be able to dub her own lines within two years of her Hindi debut. She is a nuanced actor, amazing dancer and one of the most beautiful women to have ever graced the silver screen. She is also well appreciated for her friendly and down to earth nature. She is a true legend.

It is a Malayalam interview show. It just so happens that sometimes they bring. And did you listen to Jaya Prada's English? It is bad. And it's called an "accent", not slang. Correct your own English first.

It's a pity that we discuss/ judge accent or even fluency. We are non native speakers. Unfortunately Indians are so obsessed with English accent. It's a foreign language. As long as you can express yourself/ communicate the message that's more than enough. Have you seen how foreign country people appreciate and encourage someone who try to speak another language. But here people make fun of you thanks to that no one even dare to open their mouth. Let's offer support if you thunk you can speak fluently, or at least don't discourage people.
