Good vid- I've been using my X3's for a couple of weeks now and I'm loving them. The sound and fit are both fantastic and I never have any issues with pairing or anything like that. It's great to finally be free of damn cords! 😁👌
Kavinth Amirthanathar nope what u said is a mtyh. maybe it is 3-4years ago. but Bluetooth earbuds nowadays can easily beat any wired earbuds. ofc u have to compare to similar price. u cant compare 500 wired earbuds to this 125 if u do, ure stupid

I bought mine a few days ago I wish I did that the first time around cuz I got the jaybird runs and they wouldn’t stay in for nothing. My first introduction was suck but man thank goodness I gave it one more shot with these 👌🏾
I got my X3's shipped from US in December. They were working good. But then all of a sudden one day they just went dead. I did some initial level of troubleshooting looking at the Jaybird Forum, then got in touch with Jaybird customer support. They asked me to troubleshoot a bit after which the X3's are now powering up but there is zero sound. Also their support is not that good and they take ages to respond. Tired with their support, I switched back to Bose and got the Soundsport wireless a week ago. Hopefully they last for a while now.

Techplughd I purchased the X3's and after a few months the part wear the tips would go started to come apart. I contacted them about the issue and waiting a long time for the whole process. I eventually was able to get a brand new pair shipped to me without a receipt. Yes they do take a long time but twitter was the most successful way I found to do so.
Are your Bose Soundsport still working fine or are there any issues over time. I hear so often that after a few months they won't charge anymore or that the pairing don't work. I'd be glad to hear from you✌
I read many reviews and comments saying the X3 audio lags when watching videos. Is it really true across the board for all. This is my only reservation getting the x3 right now. Thanks for replying!
This headphones have the worst Bluetooth connectivity issues .I've owned over a year and they loose connection constantly... My jaybirds 2 did not have this issue ...
Awesome video quality, enjoyed it. Since I'm planning on getting my 1st bluetooth earphones in few months, would you recommend waiting for jaybird x4's ?
+Jun Choi I've only tested the X3 and I can say they are amazing, great sound quality and comfortable for with the foam tips. So you can't go wrong with those.
Techplughd have you personally heard the beats X. I recently bought a pair and I kinda feel like I got ripped off. They aren't very loud and there is seriously hardly any bass if you put the bigger size ear tip in you can get more bass but also even lower volume. Idk, I'm new to bluetooth earbuds. Is this a common thing that bluetooth earbuds aren't going to be as loud as wired earbuds?. I had a wired pair of sony's extra bass earbuds and comparing the 2 the sony's kill the beats x. I was looking at these jaybird X3s too but the sales associate said he had them and the beats X would be louder and better sound quality. Now I'm starting to think he's full of shit and ready to take them back.
I just got these and I notice they have a slight static noise that's noticeable when no music is playing or at a low volume. Anyone else notice this? Is this because it's Bluetooth? It's not a big deal but it's kind of annoying
Ok good to know it's not just my pair. Yeah honestly if you're not in a completely quiet room it's almost impossible to notice which is good. I guess static is just a part of Bluetooth for now
Mosaed Yea, with the app. I've had mine for a year and they've had a lot of trouble charging. Just recently the left earbud has began making static noises with very low sound.
Tal I am trying to find best lauded best sound quality Bluetooth ear buds. All the Bluetooth ones I have tried when I out the volume all the way its still low. You have an idea of a good one?
Mosaed Um, I haven't bought many. But it really depends how much you are planning on spending. Like beats x, apple airpods, and bose bluetooth earbuds are probably your best bet. I think they are pretty high quality and probably loud too.
Eric Chui there is so it’s not wise to use for gaming as it will be out of sync. Although solely for music purposes it’s fine. The bass is so loud it heard my ears btw
Good video. Do you have the lag problem when using the X3s with a phone? When I type on my phone the keyboard click sounds lag way behind. I sometime get the lag watching RU-vid videos. Really annoying.

I’’ve had the X3s for a week now, loving it! However I noticed that the battery life has been quick to drain. I have not been getting the claimed 8 hours playtime. I’ve been getting at least 4 hours. I mostly use it when commuting to work, at least an hour travel time, and battery life seems to decrease by 20% for every one hour of use at 70% volume. Should I bring this back to the store to have it replaced?
It's worth the try, I'm sure the store will have no problem swapping them out for u, as for my time with it, I never listened more than an hour to an hour and half per day, and I iuld charge them every 3 days
i must be putting them on wrong or something whenever i go for a jog feels like it keeps popping out it dont actually fall off my ear but it feels like it going to.
I am now also using the X3 for about 3 months. With mine I had the issue that the comply foam tips literally fell apart after about a month of daily use. Since then I have been using the usual silicon tips without further issues. can anyone relate?
mexicanfifaking1995 It's not bad, the sound quality is meant to be more rounded out though with precision and clarity for low, mid, and high. If you just want bass then beats would probably be a good choice.
Why review earbuds but not put them in your ear? Wanna know what they look like? Does the cable dangle a lot? Do they poke out of your ear? Might as well review a car but not start or drive it.

Harris Wi I just bought the jaybird x3s man theyre loud , clear and comfortable.. when you first put them on they sound okay but with the app the sound is so good you just gotta fuck with the sound settings to make it sound good
Harris Wi have the jaybirds and their great. i won't recommend the bose soundsport, if you google them, alot of poeple said they're falling up in like 8 to 10 months.
I've had both and prefer the x3. I like the fit more and for me the Bluetooth works a lot better. Some seem to have problems with the Bluetooth though, but I was able to walk around the house with my phone by the computer (20-30 meter distances) without any interruption, skips or delay so guessing people are just having either a Monday unit or poor Bluetooth on the phone end, who knows. I also love the app you can grab for it, especially with the "clarity" preset that works excellent if you like crisp vocals (it is really just an equalizer of course but the app makes it more user friendly). Downsides I've noticed with the x3s, again doesn't apply to everyone, would be the battery life. My unit did not deliver 8 hours of playback at a 75% volume setting at all, closer to 4.5-5 hours, however that was covered under the warranty. Support was a bit slow but I got a replacement product, of course, your mileage may vary depending on country/support agent etc. If you prefer a bullet-point presentation here are the things I found was better with the x3. -Superior moisture resistance for those workouts or steamy days. -Vastly superior fit and comfort with many options for several ear sizes. -Superior Bluetooth. (Again, this seems to vary greatly depending on what phone you pair it with, but for me it is quite amazing, I use the Samsung s9+ if that helps.) -User friendly and excellent sound control thorough their free app. Late I know, but hopefully this helps.
oh thanks for the tip well i use the iphone white charger but im happy because they got charged i decided what the hell im just going to let them connected and see what happens in the morning one more time and they got 100 percent and everything they work and sound great all week one hour use and still 30 percent but the little red green led light is dead so while it has its defects if they work im not completely pissed off
From the X2's till now Jaybird really hits mediocre ratings. Not that I don't love em, but yeah they aren't the absolute best. Beats and Bose are similar, striking good or better in different categories, such as sound quality, fitting comfortably, etc.
Liar,m there is a lot of lag, up to 1 second which makes it useless for anything other than listening to music. How much did they pay you Techplughd??? Simon Ho if you look online and through comments here you will see a lot, and I mean a lot of people disliking these because of the lag and other issues. I hate mine, I wish I bought the beats instead, battery life is pathetic, 3 hours max, there's static noise constantly present, the delay is awful and they break so fast, the peeling comes off as well so they look like cheap 10 buck headphones. No good, I would rate them 3/10 and that's just cos the sound quality and the fit is ok.
So you are reviewing a headset that you primarily connect to the phone and you didn't even mention the microphone quality other then "it works"? You should have recorded you speaking in a noisy environment and see how they fair. Big miss in this review!
If you are planning to buy this product, please don't. This product is beyond horrible. Connection issue is terrible. This is the worst product i ever had. Please don't be a fool buying this product because of the great reviews online.
all i've been hearing is that these headphones are excellent but i've also been hearing a lot of people saying that the bluetooth connection is terrible. the reviews just seem to be a mixed bag.
Same. I returned mine after a few days. Some people said to try and wear them under ear to solve the issue. They cut out for me either way. I don't get why none of the reviewers have this issue.
i can only assume that the reviewers have been either paid or giving a free pair of Jaybird X3's in return for a good review. How none of these reviewers say anything about the terrible bluetooth connection i'll never know.
I disagree with you. These are 6.5/10 When I go to the gym, I work out pretty hard therefore sweat a lot. I box so like jump roping or hitting the bag, they will slip out. Now I do wear them tight behind my head. if I let them hang they would instantly fall out. Ive used wingtips, but these headphones are weak. To me they let to much outside noise in and no base regardless how you use "my sound app". Im going to stick with my power beats because they never fall off. But power beats sound arent that good but are better then the x3's.
I bought these about 5 days ago and I can play basketball with them on, never did they fall out. Once you have the right fit (Everyone has different ear shapes) then they are very hard to come out. Try the different fin shapes that they provide.
tRAWtrtv I bought the Powerbeats 3s 3 days ago and find them very uncomfortable. They hurt my ear canal, no matter which of the 4 included tips I use, and the long, stiff wire is annoying on the back of my neck. The connection is poor with my Android phone, constantly cutting in and out. Also, the amount of sound that leaks from the outside is no bueno in the gym.... I can still hear the gym's music over mine. I think I'm going to return them and get the Jaybird X 3's.
MrNYCEyes I hear you, but the sound is no better than a $6 pair of wired, never needs charging and NEVER lose a connection. You still need to carry your phone with you and there are wires anyway, so what's the point?
