The Washington Commanders offense led by Jayden Daniels has completely taken the NFL by storm, and it shows no signs of slowing down. With Daniels alongside guys in Terry McLaurin, Dyami Brown, Noah Brown, Luke McCaffrey, a backfield with Brian Robinson Jr & even Austin Ekeler, Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury have left defenses in the 2024 NFL season with no answer as to how to stop them.
And in terms of the Commanders defense, HC Dan Quinn has written the ship on this side of the football as well. Guys like Bobby Wagner, Frankie Luvu, Jeremy Chinn, Jonathan Allen, Benjamin St-Juste, etc. have done just enough to support their quarterback. And with the Commanders vs Ravens matchup looming on Sunday, this team very well might keep surprising the NFL world.
Also, give me ideas for other NFL videos, news, and discussions I should cover in the future. I read ALL comments.

Jayden Daniels has the rushing upside of Lamar but his passing ability looks strides ahead of where Lamar was when he first came into the league. His deep ball has been insane and he is going to be a problem for years to come, Commanders got a good one

He doesn’t have the rushing upside of Lamar, but he does have rushing ability that will do him good. His running is more like RG3 than like Lamar. Definitely more straight-line speed than quick lateral agility like Lamar. And I’ll give Daniels his props. He’s definitely a much better passer than Lamar too at his early stage. Lamar had to develop more as a passer in his 1st year.

As a life long Washington fan, I think we can officially say the Snyder curse has been lifted. Adam Peters and Dan Quinn have masterfully assembled a coaching staff and roster that have fully bought in. When the defensive efficiency catches up with the offense, this is gonna be a REALLY scary team. They're baaaack!

"true" test every week thus far. The best defense to fear right now are the Bears. Ravens defense in every game outside of the Bills is pushing 30 allowed. At least Washington defense is improving on points allowed as they are going on.

It's a great test. As a Commies fan, a win would be incredible, but I'll be happy if we can simply be competitive and give them all they can handle. That would earn a passing grade IMO.

I had such a strong feeling Daniels was going to be the top QB in the class. Williams was great too, but JD was already playing on another level. Just looking at his tape, he was fast, had elite processing, excellent decision making, great pocket presence, was DEADLY accurate, he was the complete package. He was like Lamar, except Lamar wasn’t as accurate a passer entering the league. JD was the QB I was most excited to see coming out of college and I’m honestly not surprised at all by what he’s doing. Watching him in the NFL, it’s literally like I’m still watching his college tape.

Been a Commanders/Redskins fan since I was 5(1995) and I haven't been this excited to watch this team in years. It feels different though.. Like Jayden seems so poised and serious. The team seems to be clicking on all cylinders. If Washington beats Ravens this week, I think this team legit has a chance to do some damage if they make the playoffs. #RaiseHail

The OL is ranked 22nd for time in pocket at 2.2 seconds as they are the 9th most blitzed team in the NFL yet the pressure rate is an astoundingly low rate of 14%. This speaks to the pocket awareness and mobility of Jayden plus the scheme from Kingsbury to help mask the deficiencies of the OL. Great video breakdown

Commanders fan here, but I think the Ravens bring us back down to earth on Sunday. That’s fine, we’ve got a new owner, new staff, almost entirely new team - hell, even a new stadium name. This is 10x more exciting than I hoped for. I don’t mind getting beat by great teams. 👍

I haven’t wanted to watch football in quite a while. I had moved away from dc area and the way the skins were playing for years I stopped making an effort to watch games. Missed all of rg3. Didn’t watch his highlights till the lockdown. Anyway I’m going to be watching games again. Spent the last couple days watching his college highlights. As a Cardinals fan... this was the story line for Kyler and Kliff.... Kyler is trash Kliff gets fired... and now Kliff is at it again. Kingsbury is amazing at making it easy on new QB. It's all great when you have a runner as a QB until he gets injured. See Dak as an example. He ran all the time as a rookie and then he got injured and barely runs anymore.

I got news for you....any QB can and does get injured whether they're a pocket passer or mobile QB. Brady, Borrow, Rodgers, Palmer...any QB can get hurt. Most of the time they get hurt in the pocket.

I live in Baton Rouge and I was shocked that Jayden Daniels won the Heisman Trophy. I swear I didn't see anything special about him. I thought that any team that drafted him was going to waste a pick. I'm still skeptical - these QBs always seem to flourish in the first half of the first season and then defenses adjust to them in the second half of the season. Time will tell. Let's see what happens when he actually faces a real defense.

I hated the name Red-Skins (and indians) and so I am happy they changed the name(s) and the first thing I said when I saw the name Washington Commanders was that is the doppest name, and when they get a great QB it will be the best team to be the best QB on. I'm not a hater so I didn't think or say anything negative on when that would transpire, but I didn't think it would be so soon.

@@unixman1891that’s not really the case. There are a lot of fake tribes out there and they are the ones claiming exception to the name change. A lot of their “members” got a result of a few percent Native American on their 23 and me. A lot of the polls the team released defending the name weren’t scientific either. Remember it was Dan Snyder at the helm back then.
