I hope Washington takes him. With his height and ability to throw from the pocket I think he’s a better option then Williams. He won’t be able to run as much in the NFL but I also think he’ll be a productive runner when he gets an opportunity.
The clip at 2:22 gives me chills. His head on a swivel, going through his progressions at light speed, everyone covered...then he's gone! Christ, I wish this kid would end up in Purple. The Vikings would be a Super Bowl favorite, after the rebuild of this D this off-season.
If AP is head coach of the raiders, he will move up in the draft and jayden will be the starting qb for us.. u heard it here first… RRRAAAIIIIIDDDEEERRRRSSSS
@@Itz_Crawfisheven without the Heisman you don't win the awards and set the records he did and take a QB that has 0 NCAA awards or bowl game mvps over him, potential project vs proven production and I'd rather duplicate Jayden's success than fix Maye's weaknesses
@crisybuks3146 Because this WR class is a lot deeper than the QB class is. There's about ten or twelve different receivers we can get in the second round that would make an immediate impact (even though it won't be as big of one as MHJ). Can we say the same for the QBs? Hell no. It's Williams and Maye on the upper echelon, a very small dropoff to Daniels, and then a massive cliff to whoever the next guy is. So take the chance on Daniels if Williams and Maye are gone before New England's pick.
He will be an NFL starter day 1 and drive his franchise into a playoff run in his first year. His footwork and pure pocket finesse and ease are a very rare special gift that only Tom Brady Rodgers and Mahomes have had that I’ve seen
I’m a fan of his and think he’s gonna do great if he can add some weight but idk about all that. Just depends on the type of situation he goes to. If a team with some weapons and a good defense like the falcons draft him, watch out everyone else.
Young Man deserves all the hype, it's real. I can see my Vikes moving up to draft him, the LSU alumni will reunite with Jefferson and Daniels what a nasty combo!! I can also see us drafting the best Edge rusher in the 1st and figuring out how to draft Bo Nix. Another QB who makes perfect sense in Minny, which one do you guys think will be a better fit in Minnesota? Given they'll sit behind Cousins for 1 or 2 seasons.
man do i want to see this guy in purple. I think we do that and sign Cousins to a team friendly deal Jefferson will be happy. Then we need to figure out how to keep Flores here. THEN we need to replace Hunter, Smith, etc. lol. It's going to be an interesting off season and this is going to be the one that makes or breaks KOC and Kwesi.
I like both Daniels and NIx. They're both exciting, intelligent, dynamic QBs. For the first time since he got here (and in light of Stroud's success), I'd say let Cousings walk and just draft a QB high and go with him. Give Wes the full-time OC duties (or someone else) and use this offense to its potential. Spend Davenports $13MM toward Hunter's $30M per year and use the Cousins savings to continue bolstering the D.
Hope the vikes get aggressive and go get him. Or wait and get jj McCarthy. They need a guy who has the ability to be a franchise guy and I think both of them could!
@@jer410 Flores is definitely essential to the formula in Minn. I think Kwesi knows how to move the chess pieces around to keep all the factors that give the Vikes a chance to be competitive, truly competitive. Skol my brotha, see you on the other side of this off-season. ✌️ Purple Family
Watched this after watching highlight videos of Williams and Maye. Daniels is definitely the best runner of the 3, but he has the weakest arm. His deep ball floats more than either Williams or Maye. As a Commanders fan, I wouldn't be mad with Daniels, but I'd prefer Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.
Highlights look good, problem is, I didn’t see him look to a second or third option. Can he go through his progressions? He can run his ass off though and throw the deep ball.
Right! Dam people seriously think this guy can play in the NFL smh you ain't making it in the NFL if you can't go through your progressions and like you said not once in this whole highlight video did he go to his 2nd or 3rd WR read, looked down every WR he threw it to and when faced with pressure he immediately looked to run! That shit can work in college but he'll get eaten alive in the NFL!
I’ll add to that. Even when doing just one read he is late to throw the ball. On simpler college defenses and one read only. Best example is 5:40, he was over two seconds late throwing the ball.
At the 2:24 mark, he went through multiple reads, before bailing. So, he’s more than capable of going through his reads. I don’t know how you guy’s concluded that he only played in a one read offense. A 6 min highlight video , encapsulated an entire season, but I digress..
Jayden Daniels, hmm, he Won the Heisman with Two sophomores at Tackle, one transfer from Group of Five and an undervalued OL at guards and an undersized center. Yeah, I'd say it's an understatement but Jayden Daniel's explosive. 💥💥💥💥
I’ve analyzed all 3 of the top qbs drake maye Daniel’s and Williams, to me Williams cant avoid pressure and sense the pocket prevantly, Maye has very good arm strength throws superbly accurate evaded pressure but is on the slower side id compare him to Matt Ryan, Daniel’s is a very fast runner evades pocket presence thoroughly, runs the ball to often but throws nice balls to his receivers to my opinion drake maye is the best qb in the 2024 nfl draft
Or maybe he is taking what is open thus him running. Yes, there are plays where he can just step up in the pocket or slide left or right. But he's not a lead foot like Dan Marino or Dan Mcguire.
Would like to see him keep his eyes down field when getting pressured, after breaking contain & attacking the line of scrimmage. Brian Thomas Jr is a top 10 prospect!
He needs to hit the weight room ASAP. He would get broken in half in the NFL. Great upside as far as talent...but he's 24 already and might need time to develop similar to Jordan Love of the Packers. I don't know if I would take him with a top 5 pick?? Perfect situation would be obviously the Ravens or Philly with that style QB in front of him. Neither team has any shot at getting him tho.
He was 185 in HS and bulked up to 205. He's a Lamborghini, but I'd love to see him add 10-20 more pounds if he's gonna take so much contact instead of sliding.
Bring him in with that torch AL Davis Come On AP go get your boy he the missing piece and some more o line and linebackers and corners and safeties we got this
Not gonna lie. Daniels was not on my radar at all until Nov. I was absorbed in Colorado hype and rooting my lifelong Horns. His name pops up in Heisman talk so I watched some film. Hot damn this is a dog.
Man if my Raiders can snag this kid.... he is technically sound AF as a passer and has next level break away speed. Lineman will never catch him. Sell the MFn farm for him 💣☠️💣☠️💣
i think washington has to seriously consider him over maye because of his scrambles... with big o line questions a qb like maye might not have such a chamce to develop... sit him behind brissett for a year , trade howell (dont need howell doimg "well" for a season and then having a qb controversy, plus a rookie qb can only learn so much from a 3rd year qb)
Washington dont give the bears a dime for that 1st overall pick. This dude will be there at 2 and in my eyes he the second coming of rookie RG3. Get the same flashes
@@moheganson all we gotta do is protect him, Griffen didn't know how to slide, he got hurt and had a ego which is why he wanted to be a pocket passer instead of what he was
I don’t know much about college football, but watching this kids highlights, I can the hype around him. But if I’m honest, he gives me Tua vibes. Not trying to be negative and/or take anything away from his game or character but the nfl has evolved to catch running qbs(except Lamar Jackson). I truly hope I’m wrong, and would gladly eat crow if I am
There's nothing Tua in his game. Jayden is -taller (6'4) -not a lefty -a million times better deep ball -a million times faster/more athletic/agile/quick Tua has much better short-range accuracy as of now and can read a defense better, but that's really it.
Arm velocity isn't on the level of Maye/Caleb in theory but Jayden may have a more accurate deep ball in practice. It's very good, he doesn't struggle to launch it deep.
IDC as a falcons fan i would ❤❤ for them to trade up a couple of spots to take him..We could have another Vick but he looks like Lamar with a more seasoned arm ..im not a big calab williams fan but hes good 2
