Your comments about the Vette made me chuckle, since being in the US, very similar reasons for getting the 400 (super rare, great noise, looks, the drive etc) but with the unfortunate added negative of a LONG wait for those of us who've followed since Geneva 2015. In the home stretch now though thankfully.

Hi James. Interesting vid again. I agree with the camera angle comment. ( sorry if this puts your mate out of a job !! ;) ... ) My friend ,Graham, will be bringing his new C7 on the 19th. One of 500, special edition, dealer only cars. I am though, looking forward to seeing and hearing the Evora. Just bought some new lenses for the day ! :)

Just a couple of nit - picking points Unless you have access to a technology Unknown I don't know how you are going to see us next time Cars have character ,not personality

James. question for you. when you tested the white test car at the dealer did you find the gearbox tricky at high revs? you have mentioned that you like the gearbox in your car. when I tested the white car recently I found it tricky to change from 2nd to 3rd at high revs? did you find that at all?

We need less boring cars and more Lotus on the roads.

Ummmm.... having listened to all of your comments, it feels like the Lotus was chosen as much because it's a bit different as anything else. Some of the dismissives used against the rivals seemed kinda spurious. Then you mentioned that you considered a c7 seriously, and that puts you way out on the fringe. I've had two Lotuses and am considering an Evora 400. I didn't like the S much when I drove it - it felt like a 40-45k car in every possible way and lacked the speed, drama, quality and soundtrack appropriate to its price. I'm hoping the 400 is much better, but you can be sure I'll only buy one if it impresses the hell out of me. I won't be so keen to make the decision and then justify it.
