Dude has been criticized since he was drafted,he was booed on draft night,told by some fans Tatum would take his mins when he was drafted..had too come off the bench for Gordon I get hurt all the Hayward in his 3rd season still played well off the bench that season...been getting better n better year after year. Had a bad game 7 last year and people told him he had no left and was overpaid..not too mention all the times some fans wanted him traded and yet he's the reason the Celtics win banner 18 barring a comeback from the Mavs

Tbf last year in the playoffs he wasn't great going left. A lot of TOs and low PPP figures But this year he's well above average going left. He's rounded out his game and it's showing in the stats. His improvement has been awesome. This is what makes sport great.

JB is my finals MVP. Since the start of that ECF till now, he has been absolutely incredible on both ends. It’s ridiculous that he didn’t make an All NBA Team and also the defensive team. He definitely took it personal and has really stepped up his game and is on the verge of bringing back that chip to Beantown. Lets go Celtics 🍀

Jaylen Brown is to Jordan as Tatum is to Pippen. We are seeing it in these playoffs. Once the Celtics commit to this philosophy, they will be impossible to beat. They need to stop forcing Tatum to be the number one guy. His shooting percentage is terrible but he does the other things well like Pippen did.

Jaylen's between the leg dribble is so devastating. It's not MJ's inside-out dribble, but it is clear that it's a space creating move when he's moving downhill. It's also very effective in traffic and the halfcourt.

@@ghosting6723He made no excuses they he cut his left hand during the playoffs a year ago hence why they said he couldn't go left because of the Game 7 which was always absurd considering I been watching him since his rookie year he could dribble and go left ..that said he super tightened up the Majority of his game during the off-season. Nobody breaks JB no one...it's just a small hill of adversity for him he will always have that chip on his shoulder and want more

JB Finals MVP has a nice ring to it. Well deserved after all of the flack he's taken. Not many outside of Celtics fans knew how good he is. Next season , I expect him to be on the all nba second team and defense.

Jaylen was trying to hide his joy for going 3-0 & finally had that little grind at the end. If he keeps this up, for sure, he's the Finals MVP & Tatum also deserves a lot of credit as he buckle down to become a playmaker & give up his ISOs (except in mid Q4 this game).

You can tell JB really was trying to find that 3 ball early on lol. I like how even with the slow shooting start he attacks the rim to get going. On defense he was great again. Luka was trying to get away from JB the entire game. This version of JB is a top 10 player . I think it’s safe to say he’s a Jimmy butler type player. Someone that cruises during the regular season, but evolves in the playoffs. Only weakness for him right now is free throws. Idk if it’s a confidence thing, or technical. I feel like since he’s always on the move, being stuck at the free throw line throws him off😂.

DEFINITELY a mental thing for the free throws. JB a smart player but that means he can overthink. Im hoping he can bump up his averages, but I also understand practice freethrows are A LOT different from in-game freethrows

It technical i see brown shoot his freethrow when shoot it In one motion it go In but when he take a pause like in a two motion shot he miss so it could be confidence but I don’t think it like Ben Simmons I don’t see brown like so I think it more technical where he need to consistently shoot a 1 motion freethrow
