This video is making me cry because some of my symptoms have left and subsided since I realized I had TMS only this past June of 2023. I get srvere anxiety and trouble breathing and breathing through my nose but i know what it is so i am not increasing any oanic or fear because i know what it is.😅

I am also a hygienist from Ontario. Jayne is my hero! Thankfully I was able to connect with her and she helped me on my way to this particular treatment. I’m several weeks in and notice a definite improvement in my 40 yr chronic pain journey. I am so very grateful that on a particularly bad pain day she just appeared on my iPad. She gave me some tips and her voice constantly plays in my head as I navigate this new treatment. Eternally grateful to Jayne!

I was searching about fear of pain and saw your videos. I have a history of back and neck disc bulges 6 yrs ago. The only thing that helped me before was PT and continue with my everyday life and do the things i love to do. Until finally, i was able to ride a bike again, do push ups and even tried to play basketball a few times. But 6 yrs later, i had tennis elbow pain then started thinking it may be coming from my neck. Felt the fear come back until one day my neck hurt after lifting a heavy bag. Now, iam starting to think that i had tms before and i didnt know it. Not yet sure if this is again tms or a structural pain. By the way i scored more than 30 in your tms test... Thank you so much because now, i realized i should not fear this. With the help of god, i will not allow this pain to control my life.

Thank you Jayne! You are helping many people by taking the time to tell your story. I also listened to your story on Jim Prussack’s channel, where I learned that you were able to process your emotions with the help of a neuro plastic pain informed therapist because of past trauma and that that was another important piece to your full recovery. For some of us there is a need for doing more work with our emotions. One size does not fit all. Jayne, in your other account I was so challenged by how you feel like a different person-no longer living in flight or fight or hyper vigilance as a way of life; you said your journey has not been about going back to life before you had chronic symptoms, but that now for the first time you are really experiencing the joy of life. What I heard was, your healing journey brought much more than relief from chronic pain. You have begun to live in your whole body, not just your head. I am not there yet, but your story has really challenged and encouraged me. Thank you!

Jayne, you are truly a Godsend! This is Jane, from Ontario as well. I loved listening to your story to the point where I listened 4 times. Even though my years are far less than the 37 you had, mine started in 2016 at the age of 56. What you described was almost verbatim to what you described so very well. You have given me a new hope. I searched for years as a Canadian for TMS practitioners in Canada. There was nothing. I contacted Pain Pychotherapy Centre immediately and booked the 20 minute free consultation. I am truly grateful to Dan for posting your success story- thanks to both of you, I feel really excited that the stars are aligning. Jayne from Ontario and Jane from Ontario might be a sign😂not to mention, their virtual assistant is named Jane 😊 I have been feeling better already just knowing this resource is available to me. Dan, I listen to you every day and have been on your 1 on 1 and group sessions - you have guided me through many challenging days. I remember the day I was freaking out about going out to work in my garden cuz I had poison ivy 3 times that year (first time ever....immune system) You reminded me that I was turning this into a monster in my head. You said "my Mom was a gardener and over the years had poison ivy several times" Well, it worked...I dropped the fear and went out to enjoy my garden and it worked like a charm. In fact, the mysterious rash thatI thought was poison ivy again was my brain creating a rash, that swiftly went away. Go figure - more proof for me to know it was just my beloved brain. Thank you both for this blessing ❤❤

Thank you. Another great success story. I'm happy to say I'm in that club. 43 years of migraines dissipated huge amount. Moreover I'm not scared by the symptoms anymore. Dan was one of the top three who helped me when I found him in Dec 2019 and that says alot as i was a patient of Dr sarno's for a long time. ❤❤

Congratulations Jayne! ❤Thank you Jayne for sharing your story as it is very inspiring! Thank you Dan for your great support and for this interview. It's great knowing that after 37 years of chronic symptoms, as I've had at least 36 years of serious and debilitating ones and realize now that I've had symptoms for almost 60 years now that I recognize that my childhood symptoms are also TMS/PDP, there is hope. 😊

This is sooo inspirational! I, myself have suffered with pain and fatigue for almost 30 yrs. So this is really encouraging to know someone that suffered for so long could still get better, and in a relatively short amount of time. Thank you Jayne for sharing your story. You really gave me some hope 😊

This was so helpful. I lived how you described viewing symptoms with a lense of safety. I haven't been able to comprehend this term but the way you talked about it really helped. I realized how afraid of the pain I am and now I know better of what I need to do.

Such a great interview. I too, knew as soon as I heard about TMS that it applied to me. Never doubted it!!! I just keep learning things all the time. Was interested to think of fatigue and insomnia as symptoms also. So very helpful and enlightening!!

Amazing, insightful, inspiring, and hopeful interview! I believe I watched her interview with Jim Prussack as well, but I watched this one too. Even though I have chronic migraines, I can relate to so many of her struggles- my world getting sooo small, canceling plans with everyone, only going to events if I HAVE to, laying down 24/7, etc. Thank you for sharing your story again, Jayne! ❤

What I observed in almost all your videos is that just becire people get a good hold on this they all talked about episodes of anxiety. I wonder if it’s the last thing to leave
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 4 месяца назад
Once the brain is successfully convinced the body is okay, anxiety is a normal result. Why? Because the brain is still on high alert and looking out for danger. Since it's been convinced the body is okay, anxiety is the result. As Jayne did, treat the anxiety just like any other symptom. With little to no concern. The anxiety will go too - just like it did for Jayne.

My question is she engaged in life before and it didn’t go away so are you saying that her lack of fear of it alone made it stop by doing the same things ?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 4 месяца назад
A main source of her success came from the clarity that she wasn't damaged or broken physically. That accurate knowledge allowed the fear to be lowered to a degree that the brain stopped the pain.
