If Jayson Tatum’s dad was saying he was playing soft and Coach K was saying he was playing soft, then I don’t wanna see how he was playing back then. To this day when I watch the Celtics play I get frustrated and How soft he plays when he drives to the basket, the slightest of contact to the basket the ball is stripped away from him. Things have certainly changed over the last 25 years but It was a huge part of the culture of sports and the military once upon a time. I played bball in HS and college...also served time in the USMC. Right, wrong or indifferent this was the way things were.
