BOSTON -- Celtics All-NBA Forward Jayson Tatum spoke to reporters after he dropped 51 points leading Boston to a 112-88 victory on Sunday to advance to the Eastern Conference finals.
Tatum scored the most in a Game 7 in NBA history. Jayson finished 17 of 28 from the field and added 13 rebounds and five assists, the fifth player in NBA history with 50-10-5 in a playoff game (per ESPN Stats).

As a Celtics fans, I give thanks that JT and JB are poised, dedicated professionals who are confident yet humble, and they know they are paid millions to lead their teams to victory. Without a basketball in their hands, they are still thoughtful and poised young men who you can admire. Although there're still times I see Tatum being immature forcing 3s sometimes & he's still slow to react to the double teams up top, he did improve his left hand drive & finish a bit, & contribute in many areas whether his shot is falling or not. Kudos to him. And, the beauty of this game is, he could not have done what he did without the whole team locked in playing D at a high level & game plan of consciously putting a < 100% Embiid on the spot to defend him.

@lennonrocks100 As far as Bill Russell goes, he played on a team full of all-stars, hall-of-famers. 11 rings are very impressive, but that era is nowhere in comparison to today's basketball. Michael is my goat right now, but at the age of 38, man come on now Lebron has been to 10 finals man yes he has a losing record but he's been to ten finals let that sink in .PS Lebron James is now the all-time nba leader in points. GOAT means Greatest of All Time. JT is one of the top 5 players in the NBA right now, which is saying a lot. But he has not won the MVP or a ring, and even most Celtics fans would not say that he is definitely better than Joker, Embid, Giannis, Luka, and one or two others. So even a Celtics fan like me would not call him the Greatest player in the league, for right now. Greatest of All Time? You have to compare him with the likes of MJ, LeBron, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Kobe, Kareem, Bird and Magic, etc, who have all accomplished so much more than JT has so far. He's on his way to a truly great, and almost without a doubt, HoF career. But let's pump those GOAT brakes a bit until he has won an MVP or two, and a ring or two.
