He just takes it easy now having so many other great players around him. Then when they start falling behind or the other team is catching up he steps up
@adriankendrick4281 that's the beauty of the game, we get it. But the beauty of an Iso is another thing entirely, a possession can look so smooth when a player feels so in control that no matter if it ends in a bucket or not, it will always feel like it was destined to go into the net the moment the iso player had the ball in his hands. JT is capable of magic like that, but he also is capable of just tumbling down trying to keep the ball in his hands to force up any type of shot against the defense and it happens more often than the former actually. That's the ugly way an Iso can go, when it ends with a prayer, not a skillfully crafted look. The inconsistency of JT in the iso is the fact that it always seems like he ends up with the ugly side when he tries it.
@@narrow3601man stop it. Jayson takes tough shots 100% and sometimes he doesn’t even need to take a tough shot but still does it. But it’s a make or miss league. When it makes the shot it looks amazing like this entire video. When he misses the tough shot it looks ugly. This is true for every player. Some are just more efficient than others. Dont make it so dramatic lol. He takes tough shots bc he knows he can make them. Saying he mostly has “ugly” possessions over good ones is cap. If that were true he wouldn’t be one of the best players in the league nor would the Celtics be so successful since his arrival. It’s no different from other inefficient superstars like Kobe or Iverson. They missed a lot of shots and took a lot of stupid tough shots one could call ugly. Jayson can at least make up for bad shooting nights with his playmaking, defense and rebounding. If Jayson always ended up on the ugly side of ISO ball like you said he wouldn’t be demanding doubles and blitzes every game and playoff series. Teams can’t defend him 1v1 and they aren’t willing to try. His only real issue is he settles for that step back 3 way too much but it’s a shot he believes in. Sometimes it ass. Sometimes it’s unstoppable and he drops 40+ in an elimination playoff game. Call him inconsistent and inefficient but don’t lie and say he is mostly bad or ugly in ISOs that’s not true
@@FrancisFordFur "Choking" is 3 straight conference finals appearances and a finals appearance under the age of 30 LMAO. I wish Embiid and Giannis would "choke" more then...
