I loved Peter Leitch's off the books not really an autobiography more so a treatise. He does speak in depth of his times on the come up in Canada as well as his life playing in the New York jazz scene.
There is an excellent bio of Wes Montgomery His life and His Music by Oliver Dunskus Herstellung and Verlag. It cover many aspects of his life like his father and older brother both named Thomas
