Angelina Jordan = Goosebumps, tears and humility. Absolutely magically beautiful. Angelina Jordan= Gåshud, tårar och ödmjukhet. Helt magiskt vackert.

There are just some children who are so gifted from birth and by polishing them as they grow up...they become so unique!! I think Angelina is definitely one of those kids!!!

Several channel reactors have thought that #AngelinaJordan was nervous in this debut. Far from the truth. She has said in interview that she goes into a different place (her special music world) and sings for the joy and sake of singing. But for us fans it is so much more than that. There is a message of inspiration and genuine love that is sent forth from the heart of a little angel on earth. And therefore chills, my friend.

And while she's waiting backstage, she's just yawning, hanging out. She is never nervous when she sings. That is her beautiful mother, who's fluent in Japanese, Norwegian, Swedish, Farsi, and English (that I know of). She has reined Angelina in and protected her from letting her gift hijack her childhood. Her mother said they turned down 90% of the offers that came to Angelina. Even so, after she won, she sang in Seoul and Singapore and Rio and many other exotic venues.

Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on RU-vid before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. Angelina's four performances on Norway's Got Talent is the most remarkable thing I have seen on any talent show, and I've seen a lot. She ended up winning the show at 7/8 by a landslide. Thanks for your reaction. I track her age on this early performances by the length of her teeth. Her 2 last performances on that competition "My Baby Shot Me Down" and "Summertime" were epic. I think because she was exposed to Jazz from a very early age, she has developed some kind of empathy to the artists to an immense degree. That way she can emmotionaly break down their performances, being able to reconstruct their art with her own coloring and vocal tools. Her own work like the "Million Miles" and "7th Heaven" is showing us her profound artistry, making us proud to be her audience.

Danny, thanks for another beautiful reaction with Angelina. Her first public show with Gloomy Sunday, the famous song that Billie Holiday sing for the first time in 1941, was an astonishing event for those who lived it at that moment, the emotion one feels for her first performances, in which she wonderfully connects her voice and talent with aspect of that little bird playing, it is very big and intense and leaves you permanently marked. ❤️ ❤️ To think that at 7 years she was perfectly capable of reading, analyzing and making contact, in a foreign language, without any doubt or fear, with the public and with the talented judges seems impossible. She convinced her mother to sign her up for Talent because she was confident ... at seven years! In the days following the performance, her online video recorded over 5 million views in a country, the Norway, which has as many inhabitants ... 😁 The judge's statement, at the end of the song "you are the music", is the simplest and most perfect description of Angelina ever ❤️

Danny, you just witnessed the beginning of a long and beautiful journey to wherever she takes it. 7 years old. She turned 8 during the filming of the Show. I recommend you watch the song she sang in the finals, Summertime (Ella Fitzgerald style). Danny, so much for you to hear from her but I strongly recommend you listen to her sing a recent cover she just did, Adele's "All I Ask". (She is 15 now.) Then, if you wish you can go back to the earlier years. When she turned 10 she started to zoom in and knocked out some unbelievable songs (Feelin' Good is especially great!)

Angelina`s grandmother led Angelina to dicover jazz and Billie Holiday, a major impact to create the musical foundation and love for music by Angelina. And her dream is to stage the world as a whole. At 7, I think I was in second grade, as she probably is. Simply amazing vocals from a child, or probably any one I suppose. Started my journey here several years ago and what a wonderful trip it has been and still is. Very nice reaction Danny. Much appreciated.

Yes, that was her mum Sara Astar. Her first appearence in front of a big audience. She blew them away. The newest ones are an Adele cover: "All I ask" and the original "7th Heaven"( best studio live version) Personally I very much love "Million Years Ago" , another Adele Cover , done at the age of 12 und "It's a Mans World" live open air, same age. But alle her originals and such a lot of other songs are great. She never really fails...

(The last clip of the frosted-hair judge, gasping for breath... that always kills me. This would be a familiar shot for other judges in her next performances - breathless, gasping because they've held their breath in almost disbelief.) I'd recommend that, as long as you're dialing back into her history, keep going. SUMMERTIME has two videos, and I strongly recommend BOTH. They are about 2 years apart and it's not that her vocals have 'grown' so much - but she's going from a TV studio karaoke setting into a live daytime performance with an orchestra, and see how she handles the such-different tempos.

I recommend, I’d rather go blind. It has a similar shock value to I Put a Spell On You, as although she’s a bit older, she’s just sitting on a couch at home with mike and then just rips into this song with no effort.

Danny, the song from her finale Summertime was also sublime as was Bang Bang also from NGT, but the song that hits me like an electric shock every time is Feeling Good that she did at 10. Truly mind-blowing. She has two versions one indoors for a TV show, one outdoors filmed at a festival. Both are worthy of a separate reaction they are that good, unless you wanna do both together! Yes. That is little Angie's proud Mamma. She has taken good care of Angelina making sure she gets her education and is at home and protected. I absolutely do believe that Angelina is the reincarnation of a great jazz singer from days gone by and Billie Holiday is who I think she was. Angelina was singing as a baby (she tried anyway.). She used to listen to the old jazz singers all of the time with her grandmother. Once her mother tried to get her to learn, 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'....She would have none of it. Ha. Can you even imagine it? And yet I once saw a video of her out playing on a slide with her friends. She was a child as was fitting for her age at the time. Get her in front of a microphone and all reasoning flies out the window! 🎶🌞🎶 🦅🎤............. 🧠 She is barefoot on stage because once she met a little girl too poor for shoes. Angelina gave the little barefoot girl her own shoes. After that, she said she would sing barefoot on stage until all of the children had shoes to wear. Angelina is a rare bird and an old Soul.

This was absolutely amazing singing, almost hard to believe. Slightly disturbing though that little Angelina sings a song with clear suicidal tendencies and basically leaves us in a feel good state... Approximately a year later she sang "I'll be there" (Michael Jackson/Jackson 5) in a charity event in Sweden. She performed here even if she was quite ill at the time (the flu, I think, caught a couple of days earlier when she sang bare foot at a Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo) and was recommended to not sing in the condition she were in at the time. Still, she chose to enter the stage, barefoot. It's very difficult to not be touched by this heroic performance that matches the title so well: She'll be there when we're in need. You will find covers that she does that are experiments. In an interview with Ivan Mendes who played acoustic guitar for several covers, we hear that she would "play around" with a song and then perform. One take. Live. Some covers she uses a karaoke track. But it is obvious she prefers to do those with a live musician. I think she experiments and grows when she can make her own arrangements. Like with Wicked Games. So not all her You Tube songs are spine chilling. But almost never lacking in dedication to performance. Ivan pointed out that she is often reading the lyrics and still giving a great performance. He is famous for his obvious reactions to her singing while playing for her. Good to start with Gloomy Sunday and progress forward. I don't think you need listen to everything. Her next in chronology, l'm a fool to want you which she sings acapella is astonishing because she never loses pitch on that complex piece. However l would go on to her final Norway's Got Talent performance of Summertime at 8 to see her growth. Note that l put a spell on you was nine. Hard core fans can track growth and change. She tries different things . Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I like them all because she is one remarkable little girl who is growing into a remarkable young woman. You track not only her physical changes but clearly her emotional and intellectual ones as well.

Danny, Angelina's dad is Swedish, one grandmother is Iranian, and her husband (Angelina’s grandfather) is Japanese. That's what they tell us, but it may be more complex than that, why wouldn't it be? Music is the universal language, right? Or is it mathematics?
