Wow Marc.. you laid this down so beautifully. Incredible talent mixed with great communication makes the perfect teacher .. that you are. The last bit .. scales and arpeggios was so cool. Thank you so much for this .

Briliantly explained... i've started with dim chords and secondary doms and now i want more options tritonesub fits the bill! Love the journey not the destination... is my musical motto!

Carol Kaye told me to never say tritone sub but call it the flat V sub (of the V). She said I’d get kicked off the bandstand if I said tritone. Hoping to hook up with you soon, Marc!

Ah yes! That's one way to see it. Flat five. Sharp four. Tritone. They all mean the same thing :)

So basically it’s just an alternative flat II chord voicing which would always be dominant.
