About Medieval Jam, that several people are missing: we had limited time to prepare this album since almost all of us had a day job too, and of course we wanted to provide it as a pure fan-album for free. I started a version of it after finishing Jazz be damned, and in case there is such a high demand, I might focus soon in the near future to finish it :)
I am new to this 69 years old and I love 💖 this music. There is this one that I watch and he is running shooting as he goes that is what got me interested love the animation!
The Laboratory level (or Labrat) music is still one of my favourite pieces of game music. Was one of the two demo levels I used to play all the time. Just to put it out there but the game got a GoG release a few months back.
@@xFluing Yeah I know, I meant that most people don't know this game even existed even though it has a lot of people who love it. I don't think I phrased my first reply good enough to look like that was what I meant, did I?
Should have millions of views, damn it. I grew up with Jazz Jackrabbit 2. I was 6 years old, and I already paused the game to listen endlessly to the music until my father made me stop. Great memories. Thanks for this. Truly.
doesnt change the fact that they didnt patch unreal tournament since the battle royale add on for fortnite released. they even stated that they pulled devs from unreal tournament over to fortnite to make more skins and dances. and that means that they are not thinking about putting some people onto making a new jjr.
the reason why they didn't continue with this game is because it didn't bring much profits to them, that's why no publishers wanted to invest in the third installment of this series therefore leading to it being canceled.
I love Megahit's massive use of that famous Yamaha DX7 E. Bass 1 for Tubelectric (made the same choice for my own remix, hoping to release it soon.) But my favorite track in this selection remains Dark Groove. Loved the original of course, but this remix, with its catchy retro drums and awesome bass and synth lines, is an absolute gem. Congratulations to Gridscape! Greetings from France to Hungary!
The laboratory level has always been one of my favorite tracks. The version here is nothing short of amazing, and something I'd expect to hear in this style of game if it were a current release. Not just saying that either. Play it over Acid Man's stage in Mega Man 11. MUCH better fit than the stock music. Excellent work on that one, and the album overall.
guessing the same thing bruh..for ages this has been one of my best favorite opening level besides green hill zone...and the music was so atmospheric and surreal... :/
*Title track* :Ya ready for this..? *Me* :Yeyesurewhatever I know the beat. It's my childhood, it can't be that much different... *Title track* : Jazz Jackrabbit in the hou-useee!!! 3:10 *Me* : '8O Waitwhatwhatwhat..HOL' UP! *Also me* Skips to Jazz be Damned 31:28. *AHHHHH THE FEELS...!!! THE FEE-EEELS!!*
Oh my man, thank you! This was one of those games that made my childhood, along with Unreal and Doom. Besides, I can't wait till 90s make a comeback too, they were awesome in their own way!
Gridscape is MY All BEST!! commented by the BEST MAN EVER MUART'SLORD .. AND SO ON. 11:02 and then, Lab level and Megahit's also my bests.31:29 AND then.. Incredible MY faith :)
Ik dude But they are busy with that gae fartnut It was a project of a jj3 akaJazz jackrabbit 3D but they canceled the develophing Idk why but It was cool to have a third game of series
Let it sink in. JJ2 was a masterpiece not only of gameplay but also of culture and vibe. There are many great sequels out there that came out decades later. When time comes it will rise.
there are two soundtracks that I absolutely adore: *Jazz JackRabbit 2* , and *Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon* (the original, NOT the reignited trilogy remake) [honorable mention: Peter "Skaven" Hajba, who made soundtrack for Bejeweled, but he's been making music since the 90s, do yourself a favor and check out his soundcloud) also, the water level theme is apparently the metroid theme (or so I heard)
